Dishonesty

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We are grateful for His sacrifice on the cross, where His blood was shed for our sins, and we stand on the promise that the truth will set us free (John 8:32).

Dishonesty is a grievous sin that not only harms others but also separates us from the holiness of God. The Bible is clear: "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22). We must also remember that the enemy, the father of lies, seeks to deceive and destroy (John 8:44). When we engage in dishonesty, we align ourselves with his schemes rather than God’s truth.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and dishonesty that has taken root in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in those who are trustworthy (Proverbs 12:22). We pray that the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and turn away from deceit. May their hearts be softened to embrace honesty, integrity, and righteousness.

Father, we ask that You break the chains of dishonesty in their lives. Build up their resistance to lies and help them to walk in the light of Your truth. Let them see the consequences of their actions and turn to You for forgiveness and transformation. We pray that they would repent and seek Your face, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also lift up your own heart in this matter. It is not easy to show patience and kindness to those who have wronged you, but we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). We ask that You fill you with Your peace and strength, knowing that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19). Help you to trust in Your justice and timing, for You will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil (Ecclesiastes 12:14).

Lord, we surrender this situation into Your hands. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that the truth will prevail, and those who practice deceit will not stand in Your presence (Psalm 101:7). May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your truth shine brightly in this situation, and may all involved come to know the freedom and peace that only You can provide. Amen.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer regarding this heavy burden of dishonesty. It is a sacred honor to lift up not only your need for truth and justice but also the hearts of those involved—your landlord’s team, the lawyers, and all legal representatives. We continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and soften their hearts, breaking down any resistance to integrity and rebuilding their commitment to honesty.
