Dishonesty

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
amen

We stand with you in this battle against dishonesty, knowing that our Heavenly Father despises deceit and values truth above all. The Word of God is clear: "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). Lies are not merely mistakes, they are serious offenses against God’s holy nature, and they bring destruction to relationships, reputations, and souls.

We rebuke every spirit of deception that has taken root in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he often uses lies to accomplish his purposes. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the truth of God’s Word will prevail. We pray that the scales of deception would fall from the eyes of the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives. May they see the weight of their actions and the eternal consequences of their choices.

Father, we ask that You would convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit. Let them feel the weight of their dishonesty and turn from it with genuine repentance. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray that they would experience Your mercy and grace, which leads to transformation.

We also recognize that patience and kindness are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and we thank You for empowering us to extend these virtues even in the face of injustice. However, we must never confuse kindness with tolerance of sin. We stand firm on the truth of Your Word, knowing that justice belongs to You (Deuteronomy 32:35). We trust that You will vindicate the righteous and expose every lie in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we surrender our will to You completely. We dedicate our lives to walking in truth, even when it is difficult. Help us to be people of integrity, reflecting Your character in all we do. "Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one" (Matthew 5:37 WEB). May our words and actions bring glory to Your name.

We pray for protection over your heart and mind in this situation. The enemy would love to fill you with bitterness, anger, or despair, but we declare that You are a God of peace (Philippians 4:7). Fill this person with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Finally, we lift up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to God’s throne of grace. We thank You for the sacrifice of the cross, where Jesus shed His blood to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. May His truth set us all free.

Amen.

We hear the deep weariness behind your prayer, grappling with dishonesty in a legal or tenant matter is exhausting and disorienting. What strikes us most, though, is the steady patience and kindness you're describing. Choosing to show grace when you're facing serious lies isn't natural; it's evidence of God at work in you, and we don't want to pass by that without naming it.

It makes sense to feel worn down. Being misrepresented or tangled in drawn-out disputes can leave you questioning what's true, replaying conversations, and fighting the urge to despair. In the middle of that, you're doing something quietly powerful: you're not wishing harm on them, you're asking God to build up their resistance to dishonesty. That's a genuine love for an enemy, and that kind of love protects your own heart from bitterness in ways you may not even feel yet.

When the process drags on, the most practical step is sometimes the simplest: entrust the outcome to God daily and then give yourself permission to disengage emotionally when you can. You've laid your request before Him. You can keep praying for their eyes to open while also stepping back from replaying every detail. If your mind keeps spinning at night, try writing down one specific worry and then physically setting it aside as an act of surrender. You don't have to carry the whole tangled case alone in your head.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this person who is standing in the middle of a hard, draining situation. You see the dishonesty they're facing, and You know every word spoken against them. We ask for Your truth to prevail in this matter, not just for their vindication, but for the sake of those who have broken down their own resistance to lying. Build integrity in that landlord's team. Give this dear pray-er steady peace as they wait, and guard their heart from discouragement. We thank You that they are not alone. In Your faithful name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You rightly perceive that terrible judgments do not, of themselves, produce that holy, heavenly repentance which is the work of the Spirit. A man may be broken on the wheel of affliction and yet his heart remain an unbroken flint. The carnal mind, when it is scourged, will cry out, but it cries only for the smart, not for the sin. The goodness of God, however, leads to repentance, that is the sweet and effectual drawing.

When you pray that your adversaries’ resistance to dishonesty be built up, you are asking for that very miracle which only the Cross of Christ can work. True repentance is not drawn up from the foul well of the human heart, but is the gift of God, preached and bestowed in the name of Jesus. It is a repentance that gives God glory, a repentance that takes sides with God against oneself, loathing the lie as a thing committed against infinite goodness. You are not asking merely that they cease from a vice, but that they be turned to the Truth, and this is well-pleasing to the Lord.

To leave the sins we loved before, to show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more, this is the mark of it. You have shown patience and kindness, and this is a beam of the very light you wish to shine upon them. Let that same goodness which has been shown to you now plead in your intercession. Remember, there is joy in the heart of God over every sinner’s repentance. It is a higher spectacle than angels are wont to see, and Christ who shed His blood for sinners is glorified in it.

But know this: the repentance that is unto life is inseparable from faith. A man may look at his lies with a dry eye and a terrified conscience, yet if he does not look away from himself to the bleeding Savior, his sorrow is but the remorse of a reprobate. Pray, then, not just for their honesty, but that the Spirit would strip them of all self-trust and lay them low at the foot of the Cross, where the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin. There is no remolding of the life until the heart is broken before God, and no heart is truly broken except that which is made whole again by the finished work of Christ.

This truth which you believe will set them free, it is a Person as much as a principle. The Truth is not a cold abstraction, but the living Christ. To buy this Truth, one must have it in the heart and in the life, buying all of it at any price. Your plea is that their eyes be opened to this. It will not come by mere argument of law, nor by the terror of consequence, but by the sweet drawings of Calvary’s love. Cry mightily to God that He would grant them the godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of, for where true repentance is, there is full and free forgiveness. May the Lord grant you this desire of your heart, and may the dishonesty that now stands before you as a dark wall be removed, leaving in its place a clear testimony to the power of the Truth.

You have lifted up a plea for those who have entangled themselves in the snare of falsehood, and your request is heavy with the weight of their crimes. It is well that you have not returned injury for injury, but have shown them patience and kindness instead of wrath. Yet you must understand what kind of warfare presses upon them, and upon all who surrender to dishonesty for gain. When a man willfully sins after he has received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation that will devour the adversaries. And by adversaries, the Apostle means not only the unbelieving, but anyone who does what is contrary to virtue. For that fire, like a savage beast goaded by anger, seizes whatever it can and devours it utterly.

You ask that their resistance to dishonesty be built up. But what has broken down that resistance in the first place is no small thing. When men lie and commit serious crimes for profit, they have not simply stumbled; they have torn down every guardrail of conscience. If to gain money honestly is already a kind of madness when it consumes the soul, how wretched is the state of those who cast honesty aside altogether? When hell is added to that madness, and the loss of the kingdom, what wailings are due to them both living and dead! An honest soul easily receives the light of truth, just as a clear eye receives the sun. But if the soul remains dark, the fault lies not with the truth but with the corruption within.

Do not think, however, that the worst war is the one waged against you in courtrooms and by false witnesses. There are three kinds of war. One is public, when armies clash; the second is when men are at strife with one another even in times of peace. But the third war is the most grievous of all: when a man is at war with himself. What advantage is it if the whole world is at peace, but you are torn by inner conflict? This is the peace we must keep above all else. If you have that, nothing from outside can truly harm you. Pray then for kings and governors and even for those who misuse the law, that you may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Your prayer desires that the truth will set them free. This is right, for truth alone breaks the chains of falsehood. But see that you do not merely pray for their deliverance while neglecting the vigilant guard over your own heart. The craftsman and the artisan think they live by honest labor, yet even they fall into perjury, covetousness, and the endless desire for more. Examine yourself, then, lest any root of dishonesty, even in small matters, find a home in you. For if while praying for others you yourself remain pierced by the wounds of inner strife, you will be like a tree that has enjoyed every care of the husbandman and yet bears no fruit. Such a tree is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Continue to intercede for them, but let your own life shine with such integrity that the truth you profess silences every contrary mouth. Let not your patience serve as a cloak for affirming their sin, but as a medicine drawing them toward repentance. The blood of Christ was shed for sinners, and while there is breath, there is hope. Yet that hope is found only in turning from falsehood and embracing Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Surrender your will to God, as you have declared, and trust that whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed. But as for you, live in the truth, so that when your own boasting is tested, it may be found genuine, not only before Titus but before the judgment seat of Christ.
