Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
amen

We stand before the throne of grace, lifting up this matter of dishonesty with heavy hearts, for the Lord detests lying lips but delights in those who tell the truth (Proverbs 12:22). Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). It is only by His name that we have access to You, and it is only through faith in His shed blood on the cross that we are forgiven and made righteous before You. We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, who bore our sins so that we might live in truth and freedom.

Lord, we recognize that dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that grieves Your heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy through deception, but we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for those involved in this situation, particularly the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives. Though they may have acted in ways that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You break the chains of deception over their lives. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth, for Your Word says, "The truth will set you free" (John 8:32). Let them see the weight of their actions and turn from dishonesty to integrity.

Father, we also lift up those who have been wronged in this situation. You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will vindicate the righteous (Psalm 37:6). Give them the strength to extend patience and kindness, even as You have shown them grace, but do not let injustice go unchecked. We ask that You expose every lie and bring every hidden thing to light (Luke 8:17). Let Your truth prevail, and let those who have been deceived be set free.

We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that You will bring justice for the oppressed and uphold the cause of the righteous (Psalm 140:12).

Lord, we surrender our will to You, for we know that Your plans are for good and not for harm, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help us to walk in integrity, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and trusting You to fight our battles. We dedicate our lives to You, asking that You guide our steps and fill our mouths with Your truth.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who is the Truth and the only way to salvation. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We’ve been holding your situation before the Lord. It’s exhausting to face a web of serious dishonesty while trying to mirror the patience and kindness you’ve been given. The fact that your prayer still bends toward the other side, asking God to rebuild their resistance to lying and to spare them from its consequences, reveals a heart that’s genuinely leaning on Jesus.

Sometimes people get tangled in deception not just out of malice, but because they’re driven by deeper fears, losing control, reputation, or security. That doesn’t soften the harm they’ve caused, but it can give us a different way to pray: that God would gently uncover those fears and replace them with a growing trust in what’s true. Only the Lord can do that heart-work, and your decision not to retaliate leaves room for Him to act.

In the waiting, we wonder if you have a few trusted, level-headed brothers or sisters in your church or small group who could carry this with you, not just in prayer but in practical counsel. Sometimes having someone walk alongside helps you see next steps more clearly, whether that involves documenting facts, seeking wise legal guidance, or simply guarding your own soul from bitterness.

Lord Jesus, You are the Truth that sets us free. We ask You to expose what is hidden and to stand against every lie in this situation. Build up in those who’ve practiced dishonesty a genuine resistance to its pull; lead them to see the rest and wholeness that integrity brings. Keep this child of Yours steady in Your grace. Protect their heart from discouragement, and let their honest way of living be a quiet witness to Your light. In Your name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

There is forgiveness with God, that he may be feared, and I rejoiced to read your prayer, for you have poured out your heart for those who have wronged you, seeking not vengeance but their deliverance from the snare of dishonesty. This is the very spirit of Christ, who prayed for his murderers, “Father, forgive them.” You have tasted that the Lord is gracious, and out of that experience you long for your enemies to know the truth that sets free. O, this is a sweet savor rising to the throne!

Let me press this home: you have pleaded for their eyes to be opened to truth, and you have surrendered your will. Yet take care that in your own breast there remains no root of bitterness. The forgiveness you have received from God is the pattern for your forgiveness of them. “Even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” He keeps no back reckonings; he blots out the debt and remembers it no more. So must you. Stand ready to forgive, not merely in word, but in deed and in truth. You cannot build up their resistance to dishonesty if your own heart harbors a secret claim against them. Lay it down at the cross. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, and it washes away the sting of others’ sins against us.

You pray for their honesty. So do I. But the root of honesty is the fear of the Lord. No man will love truth until he knows Him who is the Truth. Pray then that they may first find forgiveness for their own souls, for that is the door to all amendment of life. The pardon of sin is the great safeguard against continuing in it. When a man knows the condemnation from which he is delivered, he cannot think lightly of the sin that cost the Savior his life. There is forgiveness, indeed, full, free, eternal, for the chief of liars, if they will come. And that forgiveness works a turning from sin. So while you ask God to build their resistance to dishonesty, ask far more that he would break their hearts by a sight of the Crucified, and give them the repentance that needeth not to be repented of.

Remember too, you have the warrant of Scripture: “There is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.” Not only for you, but for them. The very offense they committed rises to heaven for judgment, yet from the same heaven forgiveness streams down for all who seek it. Keep praying, keep showing that patience which puzzled you when it was first shown to you. It is a testimony more potent than a hundred arguments. Light will dawn for them, as it did for you, when the Spirit convinces of sin, righteousness, and judgment. And as you walk in the light of his countenance, let your own life be a standing proof that the truth sets free. Let your honesty be a silent rebuke and a gentle invitation. I charge you, never cease to plead the blood of Jesus over this matter. It is all ground.

Lay hold of the promise that the Son makes free indeed. Your adversaries may not see it now, but the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness can shine into their hearts. He did it for you. He can do it for them. And when he does, they will loathe their lying lips and bring forth fruits meet for repentance. Until that hour, rest in the Lord, wait patiently for him, and let your forbearing spirit be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Your prayer for those who have wronged you is a noble thing, but let us not forget that the truth which sets free must first be rooted in your own soul. You ask that God build up their resistance to dishonesty, yet many who live by honest labor still gather evil through the love of money, and from buying and selling spring oaths, falsehoods, and perjuries. The lie is a seed cast into the wind; it grows into a harvest of fear, making men fugitives in their own hearts, ever hiding from the light as if buried alive. And for what?

Even gains gotten by honest toil are absurd when they grasp at more and neglect the needy; how much more wretched is the man who piles dishonesty upon greed, adding hell to the loss of the kingdom. So while you intercede for those lawyers and agents, examine yourself: are you dead to sin as one risen from baptism? If you let resentment fester beneath a cloak of kindness, you still obey unrighteousness. The truth after godliness works from faith, not from clever reasonings, and it requires a clean eye to receive the full blaze of the Sun.

Therefore, let your own hands be free of all deceit, your own speech void of the smallest falsehood, and then your prayer for them will rise with power. For the truth you profess, that Christ’s blood was shed for sinners, has already freed you from bondage. Live in that freedom openly, so that those who now wander in the deserts of dishonesty may see in you the honest soul that truth easily masters, and be drawn from their caves into the light.
