Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We stand together before the throne of grace, lifting up this matter of dishonesty that has caused such pain and hardship. The Lord our God is a God of truth, and His Word declares, "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). Dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that grieves the heart of God and brings destruction into lives and relationships.

We recognize that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6 WEB), and it is only through Him that we can walk in integrity. The enemy seeks to deceive and destroy, but we resist his schemes in the mighty name of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of deception, manipulation, and falsehood that has been at work in this situation. The blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, has already broken the power of sin and darkness, and we declare that truth shall prevail.

We pray for the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this matter. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity" (Proverbs 11:3 WEB). Lord, we ask that You build up their resistance to dishonesty and fill them with a desire to walk in honesty and righteousness. Let Your Holy Spirit convict them of any wrongdoing and lead them to repentance. May they experience the freedom that comes from living in truth, for "you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB).

We also lift up those who have been wronged in this situation. Lord, we thank You for the grace You have given to show patience and kindness even in the face of injustice. We ask that You continue to strengthen and sustain them. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Father, we surrender our will to You and dedicate our lives to walking in Your truth. Help us to be people of integrity, reflecting Your character in all we do. We pray that You would bring justice to this situation and restore what has been broken. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your name be glorified through the outcome.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name. But already you are doing the one thing that keeps your own heart safe: you are surrendering your will to God and entrusting these individuals to Him. That is real ground to stand on.

In practical terms, if you have not already, you might consider writing down a simple timeline of key facts and conversations, not to fuel anger, but to help you think clearly and to have a record should you need it. And when you sense the weight of the situation pressing down, let that be a signal to hand it back to the One who knows every hidden thing and loves justice more than we do.

Lord Jesus, we join our friend in thanking You for the kindness You have already poured out through them. We ask You to continue guarding their spirit from resentment. Where lies have been spoken, let truth come to light in Your time and in Your way. We pray for the landlord’s team and the legal representatives, not that they would fail, but that they would encounter the God of truth and find their resistance to honesty rebuilt. Bring a just and timely resolution, and let our friend know Your steady peace through it all. In Your name, Amen.

It is always well, Brothers and Sisters, to know the Truth of God and to know it so certainly that you are able to remember it just when you most need it. Buy the Truth. Holy Scripture is the standard of the Truth of God. Buy experimental Truth, Truth within, the Truth experienced. Buy practical Truth, your actions being consistent, and those of a right and straightforward course. Buy only the Truth. Buy all the Truth. Buy the Truth at any price and buy the Truth now. Accept Christ to be truly yours, so truly yours as to make you true! You know not how to fight the battle of life at all without the Truth.

This Truth of God ought to be remembered by us because it tends to take from us all fear of man. Why should you be afraid of a man that shall die? It will be a hard thing to be found on the side of the enemy in the great battle of right.

Bear this in mind, therefore, that the house in which we dwell, in this life, has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants. The Landlord has at all times the right to enter and leave His own property. Offer the key of your house to the Great Landlord and acknowledge that you live on sufferance as His tenants.

What is life but a great battle? Sharpen your swords, soldiers of the cross, and be ready for the fray, but as ye march to the battle let it be with heads bowed down in adoration before him, who alone can cover your heads in the day of battle.

He that confesseth his sin shall find mercy. That confession is always abundantly sufficient for our own condemnation, and there is no doubt about the justice of the punishment. Hell itself is but a rightful punishment for sin. But no convinced sinner ever will rail at God’s justice. He sees God’s law in all its glorious holiness, and he smites his hand upon his breast, and he says, “O sinner that I am!”

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. It is decision for Christ and His Truth that has the greatest power in the family and the world, too.

You have done well to pray for those who have wronged you, asking not for their downfall but that they may turn from dishonesty and embrace the truth. This is the mark of a soul shaped by the gospel, for our Lord commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. When you call God "Father," remember that you were adopted not by nature but by sheer mercy, and so you must extend that mercy to others. To revile or wish ill upon them would be unworthy of the high birth you have received. The true work of a child of God is to forgive, to bless, and to intercede, even as Christ prayed for His crucifiers.

Yet I urge you to examine your heart as you offer these petitions. Do you secretly long to see them punished, or do you genuinely desire their repentance and freedom? If you pray with the hidden wish that calamity befall them, you turn your prayer into an accusation against yourself before the throne of God. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Rather, let your prayer be like that of Stephen: "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." Then you will be imitating the Master, who perfected through one offering those who are being sanctified.

Do not let the injustice of the present trial consume you. These earthly conflicts with landlords and lawyers are but clay in the yard compared to the eternal inheritance kept in heaven. The hardships you endure are permitted by God to strengthen you, for often He enhances the struggles of the righteous when deliverance is near. Trust that truth will prevail, for it is a mighty weapon that even enemies will sometimes unwittingly proclaim. Continue to show them patience and kindness, not as a strategy, but as a reflection of the grace you have received. By your conduct you may win more than by any legal victory; your quiet example may become the means by which God builds in them a resistance to the lies that now ensnare them.

But above all, do not let your own soul be troubled. You have surrendered your will to God; now rest in that surrender. The One who sits at the right hand of the Father is bringing all things under His feet, and no deceit will stand in the end. Pray with confidence, not only that they may be delivered from falsehood, but that your own service and witness may be acceptable to the saints and to God. In this you will find peace, and the very jaws of evil will be stopped. Continue in such prayer, and you will discover that even the fiercest opposition can become a means of grace for those who love the truth.

Meanwhile, the father of lies works with craftiness, covering hidden things of dishonesty. People often drift into deception because the truth feels costly or uncomfortable. But we don’t fight this battle by being merely nice. We fight by praying against the blinding work of Satan that keeps people from seeing what’s right. Through prayer, we can stand against the distortion and ask God to open their understanding, freeing them from the lies they’ve believed and the lies they’ve told.

You’ve embraced the hard truth yourself: that the way of the cross is the path of denying self, not of seizing what seems easy. That same truth is what can break through to any heart, even a landlord, a lawyer, or an opponent. Keep asking the Lord to build up their resistance to dishonesty, not just so your situation improves, but so they escape the consequences of lying and come to know the One whose words are truth. The Spirit bears witness to the truth, and as you intercede, you’re participating in a work that can set captives free.

Don’t grow weary. The truth may not be welcomed at first; it often stirs hostility. But a heart that is genuinely walking in it, as you are, doesn’t need to flatter or manipulate. You’ve renounced the hidden things of dishonesty by bringing this all into the light before the Father, surrendering your will to Him. That honest place is powerful ground to stand on. Keep loving them enough to pray that they would walk in truth. There is no greater joy than to see people turn from falsehood and embrace what is real.

God sees the whole ugly truth of every heart, and His justice is perfect. He also delights to show mercy. Trust that as you intercede, He is working. The truth that dwells in you will be with you forever, and in His time, the lies will fall.
