Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter of dishonesty that has caused such pain and hardship. The Word of God is clear: "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22). The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Lies and deception are tools of the devil, and we must stand firm against them in the name of Jesus.

We rebuke every spirit of dishonesty, fraud, and deceit that has taken root in this situation. The Bible warns us, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Those who have sown lies will reap destruction unless they repent and turn from their wicked ways. We pray that the Lord would convict their hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit, leading them to genuine repentance. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives. Break down the walls of pride and self-justification that have allowed them to persist in dishonesty. Let Your truth pierce their hearts like a sword, for "the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). May they come to know the freedom that comes from walking in integrity and truth.

We also lift up those who have been wronged in this situation. Lord, You see their pain, their frustration, and their weariness. We ask that You would strengthen them with Your might and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Help them to continue walking in patience and kindness, even as You have shown them, for "love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8).

Heavenly Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that the truth will indeed set us free (John 8:32). We pray for justice to prevail in this matter, not according to the ways of the world, but according to Your righteousness. Let every lie be exposed, every deception brought to light, and every wrong made right. We trust in You, Lord, for You are the God of justice, and You will not forsake those who seek You.

We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

You’ve walked through something deeply personal here, not just a legal struggle, but the soul-wearying drain of dealing with people who seem to have dismantled their own defenses against lying. Choosing patience and kindness in that atmosphere is no small thing; it’s often harder than fighting back would be. We’re grateful you let us pray alongside you.

When we face sustained dishonesty, one of the most practical things we can do is keep returning the entire mess to the One who sees everything clearly. It doesn’t mean the pain vanishes, but we get to stop carrying the burden of making sure the truth wins on our timeline. The same Jesus who is the Truth has promised that every hidden thing will be brought into the light, and he knows exactly how to do that without our panic. So if bitterness begins to surface (as it often does in drawn-out conflicts), giving it back to him each morning, maybe even naming the people and the specific lies out loud in prayer, can loosen its grip.

We’ve also found it helps to ask God not only to build up their resistance to dishonesty, as you wonderfully prayed, but to guide your own steps with practical wisdom, perhaps nudging you toward a wise attorney or a counselor who can help you navigate the pressure without losing your peace.

Let’s pray in that direction now:

Lord Jesus, you are the way, the truth, and the life, and nothing escapes your sight. We lift up this legal tangle and every person involved, the landlord’s team, the lawyers, the representatives. Guard your child’s heart from the poison of resentment and give them strong, steady trust that you are working even when nothing seems to change. Bring what is hidden into the open, protect them from lasting harm, and grant them a deep, quiet confidence that rests in your justice and your mercy. In your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you have offered is noble in its desire, yet I fear it reveals a subtle peril of the heart. You ask the Lord to build up resistance to dishonesty in the souls of your adversaries, which is a gracious petition. But mark this well: the judgments of God, even the most severe, do not in themselves produce a saving repentance. Men may be scourged until they howl with a carnal remorse, yet their hearts remain as granite toward God. True repentance, that holy, healthy, heavenly sort, is not forged in the furnace of affliction alone, but is the gift of Christ, worked in the soul by the Holy Spirit through a glimpse of Calvary’s love. It is a repentance that gives God glory, not merely a regret over earthly consequences.

You speak of lies as serious crimes, and so they are. But take heed that your own spirit does not become merely a prosecutor of other men’s sins while neglecting the bar of judgment within your own breast. The repentance we preach is not a legal duty barked from Sinai, but a grace that flows from the wounded side of Jesus. It is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance, not the whip of the slaveholder, but the cords of love drawing the heart. If you would see these lawyers and landlords turned from falsehood, they must be brought not only to see the ugliness of their lies but the beauty of Him who is the Truth. Have you prayed as fervently that the Holy Spirit would reveal Christ to them, that they might mourn over their sin against infinite goodness, and not merely tremble at temporal consequences?

I charge you, examine your own repentance. Is it the repentance that needs not to be repented of? Does it make you cling to Christ with a broken yet believing heart? Too often, we demand a polished, perfect repentance of others while excusing the shards of sin that remain in ourselves. Let me put the crucial question to your conscience: has your own repentance led you wholly out of self and upon Christ alone? If it has not, then the prayer you offer for others, though well-meant, rises from ground that needs first to be watered by your own fresh tears of God-given contrition. The repentance unto life is a practical thing; it works a lasting, tender honesty in the inward parts. Have you bought that experiential truth for yourself, at the price of all self-righteousness? Sweet Sister Repentance is charming company, but she does not thrive in a heart that is fixed upon the sins of others. She rakes her own hearth first.

By all means, commit your cause to God and surrender your will. A bruised reed He will not break. But let your main pleading for these poor souls be that they would win Christ, the Truth, as their everlasting treasure. Let all go, your houses, your rights, your gains, so long as you and even your enemies might stand before God with the Truth in your right hand, which is faith in Jesus. No one ever worshipped God with his whole heart unless he worshipped him with a broken heart. Seek that brokenness for yourself, and then your prayer for others will ascend with power before the throne, having first passed through the refining fire of your own humbled spirit.
