Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We join with you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We are grateful for His sacrifice on the cross, where His blood was shed for our sins, and we stand firm in the truth that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:13-14).

Dishonesty is a grave matter in the eyes of God, for He detests lying lips (Proverbs 12:22). The Scripture is clear: "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). We must examine our own hearts first, for the Lord calls us to confess our sins and repent, as He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us not be like those who deceive with their tongues, for "a false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free" (Proverbs 19:5 WEB).

We pray for the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this situation. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and convict them of any dishonesty in their dealings. Break the chains of deception that may bind them, and replace their resistance to dishonesty with a hunger for truth. As Your Word declares, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them" (Proverbs 11:3 WEB). May they come to know the freedom that comes from walking in truth, for You have said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB).

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who have been wronged by these lies. Guard their hearts against bitterness and resentment, and help them to extend the same grace and patience that You have shown them. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). May they be a light in this situation, reflecting Your love and truth even in the face of adversity.

We surrender this matter entirely to You, Lord, trusting that You are a God of justice and righteousness. We ask that You expose any falsehood and bring forth truth, for "the Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all.

Heavenly Father, we pray that all involved would come to know You as their Lord and Savior if they do not already. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ died for their sins and rose again, so that they might have eternal life (John 3:16). May they turn from their ways and seek Your face, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We hear the ache behind your words, you’ve been wronged, yet your first instinct is to pray for those who hurt you. That kind of grace doesn’t come cheap. It flows from a heart that knows it, too, has needed forgiveness. You’re not minimizing what they’ve done; you’re refusing to let it poison your own soul. That’s a costly, beautiful thing.

What strikes us is that you’re praying not for vengeance but for their good, that their “resistance to dishonesty” would be built back up. That’s a remarkably patient prayer. And patience like this is more than just waiting; it’s an active, willed endurance that absorbs wrong without giving back injury. It’s the kind of strength that comes from remembering Christ’s own forbearance with us. When we keep that in view, it gets just a little easier to want even those who’ve lied to find the truth.

In the middle of this, you might take one gentle, practical step: each time the anger or anxiety about the legal mess flares up, consciously hand the outcome back to God in a single sentence prayer. Not pretending it’s fine, but refusing to carry what isn’t yours to fix. And if you haven’t already, loop in a wise friend or pastor who can stand with you in prayer and practical counsel, handling this alone wears a person down.

Let’s pray now:

Lord Jesus, we thank You that You are the Truth, and that no lie can outlast You. We lift up this dear one facing dishonesty from others, and we ask You to guard their heart from bitterness. Sustain the patience and kindness they’ve already shown. We do pray for the landlord’s team and legal representatives, build up in them a fresh resistance to deceit, and bring them to genuine change. Give all involved eyes to see the truth clearly, and let justice be done in Your way and timing. Cover this situation with Your peace, and strengthen our friend to keep walking in grace. In Your name, amen.

The cry of your heart has gone up before the throne, and I bid you take this word home: “There is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared.” You have owned your own sin of falsehood, and herein is your joy, God blots out transgression for His own sake. “I, even I, am he” that pardons. Let it sink deep into your spirit that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin; the moment a soul trusts to that atonement, the whole debt is cancelled for ever. Do not look at the black list of your offences, but look to the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. There is forgiveness, now, freely, completely. For you, if you are the chief of liars, there is the chief of sinners’ forgiveness. Grasp it. “Even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

And now, mark the sweet savour of your prayer for those who have dealt foully with you. To plead for the souls that have injured you, this is the very mind of Christ. You are not merely asking that their earthly craftiness fail, but that God would build up in them a resistance to dishonesty, that He would open their eyes to the truth. This is noble intercession. But let me press upon you the strong logic of the gospel: the same fountain that washed you is open for them. Proclaim it to your own heart, and then before the Lord, that “there is forgiveness” for the landlord, for the lawyers, for every soul among them. Where sin abounded, grace doth much more abound. Do not think their case beyond the reach of mercy; the arm of Jehovah is not shortened. It is with God to take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. Only believe that when He comes to deal with them, it will be by the same truth, that Jesus died, the Just for the unjust, to bring them to God.

As you cry, “Open their eyes,” remember that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. It may please the Lord to use your patient, kind-spirited life as part of that opening of their eyes. For a man forgiven much loves much, and that love can break the hardest flint. Let your own conduct be steeped in the very honesty and transparent truth you crave for them. And when you see them still walking in darkness, do not cease to pray, for the promise stands: “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” The “if” lies not with Christ’s power, but with our faith. So, go on to trust for them, to wrestle for them, and to wait for the Spirit’s work.

But oh, let this humbling thought rest on you, that the forgiveness you have received was granted that you might fear the Lord. The pardoned sinner is the truly reverent one. So shall it be with them: if they taste His mercy, they shall learn to hate the lie and love the truth that is in Jesus. Until that day, commit them and the whole tangled matter into the hands of Him that judgeth righteously. He is the propitiation; there is forgiveness with Him, full and free. Cling to it for yourself, plead it for them, and show it forth in your own forgiving spirit. So shall your light shine, and your Father in heaven be glorified.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask God to forgive your own lies and misinterpretations, yet your prayer rushes quickly past these to dwell at length upon the sins of others. Take care that you do not deceive yourself. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God, and the tongue that utters falsehood is an abomination to Him. Yes, lies are serious crimes, for they strike at the very nature of Christ, who is the Truth. Do not speak so lightly of your own offenses while you catalogue your neighbor's. True repentance does not glance at itself and then fix its gaze elsewhere; it beats the breast and says, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner."

Now, concerning this landlord and those with him: you are right to pray that they turn from dishonesty. But why do they lie? Go down to the root. In nearly every case, falsehood springs from covetousness, from the feverish love of money and worldly advantage. They break down resistance to dishonesty because greed has already broken down their fear of God. They think to gain by their cunning, but they are destroying themselves. The one who commits injustice does not so much inflict harm on another as he receives harm upon his own soul. He stores up wrath for the day of judgment. If you truly love your enemies, pity them for this, for they are blind men wandering toward a cliff. Pray not merely that they avoid earthly consequences, but that their eyes be opened to the truth of their peril before it is too late. Truth alone sets free, but if truth is not loved, it becomes a consuming fire.

Yet what of your own heart? You mention patience and kindness shown to these people, and that is good, but take heed lest it be mixed with a secret satisfaction in their faults. To show patience is a grace, but to think highly of oneself for showing it is a poison. Examine whether there is in you any root of the same disease. Have you, in your buying and selling, in your dealings, ever colored a matter, spoken what was convenient rather than what was true? Have you loved money enough to shade the truth? I do not accuse, but I warn: the honest life is one of constant watchfulness. The Apostle commands us to lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. That means not only true doctrine but true conduct. A man may profess the faith yet deny it by his works; a covetous man is no better than an idolater. Cut away, then, every root of avarice in your own soul. Learn to despise the things of this earth, so that when the next trial comes you may stand on solid ground.

Do not think that prayer alone suffices. What is the use of asking God to build up their resistance to dishonesty while your own life is not a pattern of that sincerity? Faith without works is dead. Let your life be a rebuke to falsehood: let your yes be yes, your no be no. Forgive any debt they owe you, whether of money or of honor. Let go of the anxiety for earthly justice; give that over to God. Strive for the crown that comes from above, where no thief can steal and no moth corrupts. If you have been wronged, remember how you wronged Christ and He forgave you. That is the grace that draws down mercy.

Finally, let your prayer be less about what others should escape and more about what they should become. Ask the Lord to grant them the gift of repentance, to so flood their hearts with His love that dishonesty becomes bitter to them. And when you pray for yourself, do not merely say the words; take up the conflict. He who is not summoned to enter the arena may still assist by his prayers and encouragement, but he must first be purified himself. Stand aside from the tumults of worldly cares, live in all godliness and honesty, and then your intercession will have power. The grace of Christ is able to remit all sin and to make you an heir of the kingdom, but only if you walk in the light as He is in the light.

I hear the weight behind your words and the sincere desire to see truth prevail. You are right to come before the Lord with this, because dishonesty is no small thing in His sight. The good news is that Jesus, who is the truth, has already made full provision for every one of our failures at the cross. When we have misrepresented or twisted something, He does not cast us aside; He calls us to repentance. And repentance is more than feeling sorry, it’s a change of direction. A godly sorrow leads us back to walking in the truth, and the Father is faithful to forgive and cleanse us. So take heart: the very act of bringing this to Him shows the Spirit of truth is already at work in you.

Now, regarding those you are in conflict with, I understand the pain of watching others build a case on lies. When people break down all resistance to dishonesty, they set themselves on a dangerous path. Scripture is clear that God’s judgment will be according to truth. Nothing is hidden from Him. He knows every motive, every hidden scheme, and He is not indifferent. That reality should both sober us and free us from taking vengeance into our own hands. We can pray for their eyes to open, because the truth alone can set them free from the consequences that dishonesty always brings.

At the same time, remember that showing patience and kindness to difficult people is not weakness, it is the very grace you yourself have received. The goal is not to win a legal battle at all costs, but to walk in integrity before the Lord, who examines the heart. I have seen too many people become so consumed with being right that they slip into their own form of deception. Stay grounded in the truth as it is in Jesus, and let your conduct match your prayers.

Keep praying for them, but also keep entrusting your cause to the One who judges righteously. He is not fooled by fine-sounding arguments or clever legal maneuvering. If they persist in unrighteousness, they will face the indignation due such things. Yet our hope is always that they might turn from it, because the Lord desires truth in the inward parts. I join you in asking that He would rebuild in them a resistance to dishonesty, a holy fear of the God who sees all.

And for you, continue walking in the light of whatever truth you know. Be a doer of the word, not just one who consents to it. That is where real freedom lies. May the Lord guard your heart against bitterness and fill you with His peace as you trust Him with the outcome. Your prayer is heard, and He is at work.
