Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We join with you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We are grateful for His sacrifice on the cross, where His blood was shed for our sins, and we humbly ask for forgiveness for any times we have faltered in truthfulness. The Bible warns us that "lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truly are His delight" (Proverbs 12:22). Dishonesty not only grieves God but also brings destruction to relationships and lives, as we see in Acts 5:1-11, where Ananias and Sapphira faced severe consequences for their deceit.

We pray for the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this situation. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and convict them of any unrighteousness. Break the chains of deception that may bind them, for "the Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22). May they come to understand that truth is not only a moral obligation but a path to freedom, as Jesus declared, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32). We ask that You build up their resistance to dishonesty, replacing any inclination toward deceit with a desire to walk in integrity.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment in how we respond to this situation. Help us to extend patience and kindness, even when we face injustice, remembering Your command to "love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:27-28). Let our actions reflect Your grace, even as we stand firm on the truth.

We surrender this matter entirely to You, trusting that You will bring justice and righteousness to light. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. We dedicate our lives to You, asking that You guide our steps and fill us with Your Holy Spirit to walk in truth and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. What a difficult season you are walking through, facing dishonesty from others while also recognizing your own need for grace. And yet your first move was to bring all of it before the Lord, even praying blessing on the very people who have wronged you. That speaks deeply of a heart shaped by Jesus.

We want to gently affirm what we see: you are already living out a kind of decisional forgiveness. You have chosen to treat these people with patience and kindness rather than returning evil for evil, even as the legal tangle continues. That does not mean the hurt is not real or that you must pretend everything is fine; it means you are not carrying the weight of revenge, and that is a gift.

As you continue to walk through this, one practical step might be to quietly examine if there are any specific words or misrepresentations of your own that still need to be made right, not to earn God’s forgiveness, because Christ’s work is finished, but because owning those moments can release us from hidden guilt and bring a deeper peace. Even a simple, private admission to God can lift a burden you did not know you were carrying.

Jesus, we thank you that in the middle of this painful conflict, you have given such grace, patience where there could be fury, kindness where there could be retaliation. Protect this heart from bitterness and fill it with your peace that surpasses understanding. If there are things that need to be set right, give clear guidance and gentle courage. And would you open the eyes of the landlord’s team to truth, not just for this situation but for their own souls. We trust that you see all things and will bring justice and healing in your time. In your name we pray, amen.

Lies are indeed a grievous thing, a snare to the soul, and an offense before the God of truth. Yet let this whisper drive away despair: there is forgiveness with God! I cannot say it too plainly, there is forgiveness for you. Our text stands like a great beacon: "There is forgiveness," not was, nor may be, but there is forgiveness now, at this very moment, for all who come to God through Jesus Christ. Do you tremble under the weight of your dishonesty, your misinterpretations, your twisted words? It is just such a trembling heart that the Lord delights to relieve. He blots out our transgressions for His own sake, and He will not remember our sins. What a deed of forgiveness! Surprising, complete, eternal, the record of your debt is nailed to the Cross. You have nothing to pay, but He forgives freely. Only come, confessing your sin, and lay hold upon this mercy.

And what of your prayer for those who have dealt dishonestly with you? Here is a gracious work of the Spirit in your soul, that you would seek their good. You ask the Lord to build up in them a resistance to dishonesty, to open their eyes to the truth that sets free. This is praying after Christ’s own pattern, who forgave His tormentors even as they drove the nails. You have been given much forgiveness, now let it be as natural to you as breathing to forgive them. Forgive them heartily, completely, keeping no back reckonings. Cease from any legal threats or bitterness, and commit them to God. Pray that they too might find this great forgiveness, for if the truth of God enters their hearts, they will be set free indeed. Plead for them as one who knows the bondage of sin and the liberty of pardon.

But remember: the forgiveness that comes from God never leaves a man as it found him. Where sin abounded, grace much more abounds, and the fruit of that grace is a transformed life. You who have been forgiven much, walk henceforth in the truth. Let your word be as an oath, and let your dealings be upright before the Lord and men. The fear of God springs up in the soil of pardoned sin, not a slavish dread, but a holy reverence that flees from dishonesty as from a serpent. May you go from this place with a new grip upon honesty, and a heart enlarged to pray for those who despitefully use you, that they too might taste the sweetness of sins forgiven through the precious blood of Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
