Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We come together in agreement, lifting this matter of dishonesty before the throne of grace, where Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, intercedes for us. We are grateful for the sacrifice of the Cross, where His precious blood was shed to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, including the sin of lying. The Word of God is clear: "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). Dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a serious offense against God, who is truth itself, and it brings destruction to relationships, reputations, and souls.

Father, we first ask for Your forgiveness for any times we have been untruthful, whether in word, deed, or omission. We acknowledge that even small lies can harden our hearts and lead us away from Your light. "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:8-9 WEB). Thank You for Your mercy, which covers our transgressions when we repent.

We now lift up the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this situation. It is evident that dishonesty has taken root in their actions, and we pray that You would break the chains of deception in their lives. The Bible warns, "A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free" (Proverbs 19:5 WEB). Yet, Your desire is not for their destruction but for their repentance and restoration. We ask that You soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to truth. May they experience the freedom that comes from walking in integrity, as Your Word declares: "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity" (Proverbs 11:3 WEB).

Lord, we also recognize the grace You have given us to respond to these hardships with patience and kindness, even when we have been wronged. Help us to continue in this spirit, remembering that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). We surrender our desire for justice into Your hands, trusting that You will bring all things to light in Your perfect timing. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17 WEB).

We declare that the truth will prevail in this situation, for You are the God of truth, and no lie can stand in Your presence. Open the eyes of those who have been blinded by deception, that they may see the consequences of their actions and turn from their ways. "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32 WEB). We pray that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior, for it is only through Him that true transformation and freedom are found.

Father, we dedicate our lives afresh to You, surrendering our will, our words, and our actions. Help us to be people of integrity, reflecting Your character in all we do. May our lives be a testimony to the power of Your truth, drawing others to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is the Truth and who has overcome the world. Amen.

We’ve been moved by the tone of your prayer. It’s clear you’ve been through something deeply unfair, and yet you’re still holding out patience and kindness toward people who, by your account, have acted wrongly. That takes real grace, and it’s a sign of the Lord’s work in your own heart even while the situation is still hard.

You mentioned that in order to lie and commit those other things, they had to break down their resistance to dishonesty. That’s a striking observation, and it tells us you’re not just wishing them ill, you genuinely want them to be restored to a better path. We join you in asking God to do that. He is the one who can soften hearts and rebuild what sin has torn down, and we trust that he hears your prayer for them as much as he hears your own confession.

While you wait for truth to come fully to light and for any legal processes to unfold, we want to encourage you to keep anchoring yourself in the care of a few trusted believers around you. Navigating disputes like this can be draining, and you don’t have to carry it alone. Let others help you stay steady, and if you haven’t already, consider seeking wise, practical counsel from someone who understands both your walk with the Lord and the legal landscape you’re in.

Lord Jesus, thank you that you see every hidden thing and that truth ultimately belongs to you. We lift up this situation and ask that you would bring genuine conviction to those who have been dishonest, not to shame them but to lead them toward repentance and freedom. Protect the one who prayed from bitterness or despair, and give them the stamina to keep showing the same kindness they’ve already shown. Guide every legal step and let your justice and mercy both be on display. In your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You tremble at your own lips, having spoken what is false, and you cry out for cleansing. Hear then the whisper that drives away despair: "There is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared." The lie is a serious crime, as you have confessed, a debt you cannot pay. Yet "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." It is a deed of forgiveness, divine and complete. However great the sin, the greatness of the forgiveness outstrips it, for "where sin abounded, grace did much more abound." He has no "buts" in His forgiveness; He does not pardon and afterwards accuse. The record of your debt is nailed to the Cross, cancelled in the blood of Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life.

And now, you are brought into a joint-stock business of mutual forgiveness. You have prayed for those who, by their own dishonesty, have broken down all resistance to falsehood and committed serious crimes against you. This is gloriously ennobling, for revenge is paltry, but forgiveness is great-minded. You are to forgive "even as Christ forgave you." Admire the way He forgives, freely, completely, continuously. He did not wait for us to cleanse ourselves, but came to us in our filth. So you, having had so much manifest forgiveness, must let this same grace flow through you. Build up their resistance to dishonesty? The surest safeguard is to show them the pattern of forgiveness received from you, that they might see a different estimate of sin and turn to the truth which alone sets free. There is forgiveness with God for them, too, even for the chief of sinners, if they will but make a clean breast in confession. Let this divine forgiveness which you have found be the very air you breathe as you stand before those who have wronged you.

You do well to ask forgiveness for your own lies, for dishonesty is a grave wound upon the soul. Yet do not think a mere word of confession suffices. The tongue that lies must be severed from its love of gain, for many who seem to live by honest labor secretly mix oaths, perjuries, and falsehood into their daily dealings out of covetousness. If your heart still clings to the things you gained through misrepresentation, the forgiveness you seek has found no root. Let your repentance be proved by a soul that clings to truth as its treasure.

And you pray for the landlord and his agents, who broke down all resistance to crime. This is a merciful impulse, and patience toward the wicked is indeed a grace. But take care. While you ask God to build up their resistance to dishonesty, examine whether that same resistance is firm in you. For a man may appear patient under hardship while his own life remains disordered by selfish desires. You pray that truth will set them free; see that it first sets you free from every hidden falsehood and from the secret pleasure of seeing your offenders brought low. That is not the kindness shown to you on the cross, where the Lord prayed for those who killed Him.

You ask God to open their eyes to truth so they will not suffer the consequences of lying. Consequences indeed follow sin, but far more fearful than any earthly penalty is the loss of the kingdom. What does it profit a man to escape the judgment of men and then stand naked before the Judge? And if even honest wealth is counted as nothing compared to a soul adorned with virtue and mercy, what shall we say of riches stained by lies? To feed hungry bellies with gold that hangs from the ear for mere display is a heavy charge; how much heavier when the gold itself was gotten by falsehood? Therefore, do not soften the severity of this sin in others or in yourself by speaking only of worldly consequences.

Pray for them, yes, and do good to them. But above all, live a life marked by all godliness and honesty, not only in word but in every action. A quiet and peaceable life is not one free from conflict but one ruled by truth in the inner man. Offer to God a soul cleared of every pretense, for the sun of righteousness easily enlightens a clear eye but cannot enter one clouded by lingering craft. If your prayer is to be heard, let the sincerity of your own repentance shine brighter than your past fault. Then your glorying before God will be found to be truth, and your forgiveness will be your blessedness.

Your prayer reflects a heart that earnestly desires truth, and that is a precious thing in God’s sight. When you come before the Father honestly confessing your own failings with words or misrepresentations, you are doing exactly what He desires. Far too many paint a pretty picture of themselves in prayer, but God already knows the whole ugly truth of our hearts. An honest negative confession is always better than a dishonest positive one. So do not hold back: be honest with Him about your fears, your anger over injustice, and even your struggles with truthfulness. He knows; He can deal with what you freely hand over to Him.

You are right to point to Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life. In Him, mercy and truth have met together. You and I need that meeting desperately. We are guilty of distorting truth, and justice demands a penalty. Yet God, in mercy, forgives the guilty because the blood of Christ was shed for sinners. His cross is the place where righteousness and peace kiss each other. So your sins, including every lie and every shaded interpretation, fall under that redemption. You are forgiven in Him.

Now you extend that mercy outward, praying for the landlord’s team, the lawyers, and the legal representatives. That impulse to show the same patience and kindness that was shown to you is evidence that you are walking in the truth. Love and truth are not separate; they dwell together. It is no small thing to intercede for those who have broken down every inner resistance to dishonesty in order to commit serious wrongs. You see clearly that lying is not just a slip but a deliberate hardening against what is right. So you ask God to build up their resistance to dishonesty and open their eyes to the truth that sets free. That is a prayer shaped by the gospel.

Indeed, truth is not merely a concept; it is a Person. Jesus said, “I am the truth.” For anyone to be set free, the Spirit of truth must bear witness to their hearts. Human effort cannot manufacture a love for honesty. When hearts reject the truth, they become deluded and believe a lie. So pray that they would receive a love of the truth, just as you have. Pray that the Spirit would give them a united heart, no longer divided and double-minded, but one that fears the Lord and walks in His ways.

As for you, keep walking in the truth. The world does not always welcome it. People often prefer flattery over honest words, and those who live godly in Christ Jesus will face pressure and hardship. But you are not here as a man pleaser; you are here to please God. So cling to the truth revealed in Scripture. Let the indwelling truth abide in you and shape your words. And have confidence that when you speak honestly to God and live honestly before others, you are following the One whose word never changes. Truth springs from the earth when His people reflect Him, and He will give what is good. Hold fast to that.
