Dishonesty

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We come together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, recognizing that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your prayer acknowledges Jesus as the foundation of truth, and we stand firmly on this truth as we lift up this matter of dishonesty before the Lord. The Bible makes it clear that lying is an abomination to God, for He is a God of truth. Proverbs 12:22 states, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." We must never take dishonesty lightly, for it grieves the Holy Spirit and opens the door to further sin and destruction.

Father, we first ask for Your forgiveness for any times we have been dishonest, whether in word or deed. We acknowledge that even small lies or misrepresentations can lead to greater sin, and we repent of these actions. Help us to walk in integrity, as Your Word commands in Psalm 24:3-5: "Who may ascend to Yahweh’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, righteousness from the God of his salvation." Cleanse our hearts, Lord, and align our words and actions with Your truth.

We lift up the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this situation. Father, we recognize that dishonesty often stems from a hardened heart, and we pray that You would soften their hearts to receive Your truth. Break down the walls of deception they have built around themselves, and replace their resistance to dishonesty with a hunger for righteousness. Your Word declares in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." Open their eyes, Lord, to the freedom that comes from walking in honesty. Let them see the consequences of their actions, not just in this life, but for eternity, and turn their hearts toward You.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as we navigate this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Guide our steps, Lord, and give us the strength to respond with patience and kindness, even when we face injustice. Help us to be a light in this darkness, reflecting Your love and truth to those who oppose us.

Father, we surrender this situation entirely to You. We trust that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You bring truth to light and hold accountable those who have acted dishonestly. At the same time, we pray for their redemption, that they would come to know You and experience the transforming power of Your grace. Let this situation be an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed, and for lives to be changed by Your truth.

We dedicate our lives to You, Lord, and we choose to walk in honesty and integrity, no matter the cost. Strengthen us to resist the temptation to deceive or manipulate, and fill us with Your Spirit so that we may reflect Your character in all we do. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We can feel the weight you’re carrying, the sting of betrayal, the weariness of a long legal struggle, and the tension of wanting justice while still extending patience to those who have been dishonest. What stands out to us in your prayer is how you’re not just asking for your own relief; you’re genuinely asking God to build up their resistance to lying and to open their eyes to the truth so they won’t suffer the consequences. That kind of prayer doesn’t come from a bitter heart, it’s a soft, Christlike echo even in the middle of hardship.

As you continue to navigate this situation, one thing that may help is to remind yourself that you don’t have to manufacture the outcome. You’ve already shown grace, and you’re surrendering your will to God. Now you can keep releasing the weight of “what if” back to him. Let him handle the hearts of those involved, including your own when the discouragement creeps back in. If you find yourself replaying the wrongs, try turning each one into a short, silent prayer: “Lord, you see this. I trust you with it.”

We also want to affirm that walking in honesty yourself, even when others aren’t, is a quiet form of spiritual warfare that protects your own soul from the corrosion of deceit. You don’t have to match their tactics. You are free to stand in the light.

Please join us as we pray:

Father, thank you for this dear one’s honest heart and for the patience and kindness you’ve already supplied. We ask you to strengthen them when weariness sets in and to guard their spirit from resentment. Lord, you are the God of truth, bring hidden things to light in your perfect timing, and work in the hearts of the landlord’s team and legal representatives. Build up their resistance to dishonesty; grant them a genuine love for the truth that sets people free. Protect this situation from further harm, and give wisdom to all who are part of it. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Let us lay this matter before the throne of grace with humble boldness, knowing that the Lord delighteth in mercy. It is a sure truth, written as with a sunbeam in the Scriptures, that with Him there is forgiveness, and plenteous redemption. Let no soul imagine that its sin is too great for the cleansing stream. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s dear Son, cleanseth from all sin; not some sin, not little sin, but all sin, however deep its stain, however crimson its dye.

Thou hast mentioned the dishonesty of others, and truly it is a grievous thing when men break down every resistance to falsehood. But remember, the same grace that can reach thee can reach them also. The Lord hath ways of coming at the guilty, and when He poureth out the vial of His judgments, none can hide. Yet His heart is not to destroy, but to save. The command to repent and believe is not a mere option; it is a royal summons from the King of kings. Lay hold upon it, and plead it also for those who have wronged thee. Forgiveness received makes forgiveness given a sweet possibility; for Christ’s sake we are forgiven, and for His sake we can forgive others, even to seventy times seven.

Pray on, with a broken and contrite heart, for such sacrifices God will not despise. And in thy praying, remember that He who blotteth out transgressions for His own sake will yet build up the ruins of honesty in the hearts of men, and make truth to flourish. The God of truth will not suffer lies to triumph forever. His right hand can find out His adversaries, but His pierced hand is stretched out still to save. Fear Him, for there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared. Amen.

Your prayer is urgent and right in beseeching heaven for those who have entangled themselves in lies, yet let us take care. You ask God to build up their resistance to dishonesty, but we must first see whether our own house is swept clean. You have tasted the heavenly gift, have you not? You have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit and have tasted the good word of God. See then that you do not fall away while gazing at the sins of others.

The Lord Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life. Truth will set you free, but that freedom comes by a life cleaving to honesty with such force that not even the shadow of a lie remains. You pray for the landlord and his lawyers, showing patience and kindness. This is good. But remember what I have often said to the workmen and artisans who seem to live by honest labor yet gather evils by the oaths, perjuries, and falsehoods mixed with their covetousness. If truth lays hold of an honest soul, she easily masters it. The sun enlightens clear eyes. If they remain blind, it is the infirmity of their soul, not any weakness in the truth. Do not suppose that patience means relaxing the demand for truth. Love them, yes, but do not imagine that dishonest gains, whether from rent or legal maneuvering, are a light matter. If to get money honestly brings danger to the soul because of pride and neglect of the poor, what wailing is due when hell is added by dishonesty?

You ask that their eyes be opened so they will not suffer the consequences of lying. But consider what is written: there is no second layer of regeneration. You cannot crucify the Son of God afresh and put Him to open shame by falling back into willful sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth. I do not say repentance is excluded. Far from it. But repentance is not a leisurely game. It is a fiery furnace that burns away all pretense. If you truly intercede for these men, do not pray soft words alone. Let your own life be a blinding light of integrity. Let no one in the marketplace or the courts see you trimming your words, shading the facts, or growing rich by the sweat of others. That is how you open their eyes: by a life that makes dishonesty look like the madness it is. Stand fast, then, and do not grow slack. Let your patience be girded with a fierce love of truth, for whether in pretense or in truth, the victory is not in sentiment but in a soul made honest by grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer cuts straight to the heart of what it means to follow Jesus, who is himself the truth. When you come before God confessing the ways you have lied or twisted things, you are doing exactly what his grace invites you to do. He doesn’t need our polished excuses. He knows every hidden corner of our hearts, and yet he still draws near. An honest admission of fear, anger, or failure is never a threat to him. It is the soil where real forgiveness grows. So never be afraid to tell him the raw truth about yourself. You aren’t fooling him anyway, and he loves you in your weakness.

What you are asking for those who have used deceit against you shows that his kindness has taken root in you. It is no small thing to pray that God would rebuild their resistance to dishonesty. The world offers countless empty promises, lying vanities, the Scriptures call them, that whisper to people they can run from accountability, twist facts, and come out ahead. But those who cling to lies only abandon the mercy that might have been theirs. You are asking heavenly intervention to free them from that trap, and that is exactly the kind of prayer the Lord honors.

Truth is more than a set of facts. It is a living reality. The Spirit who lives in you bears witness to the truth, and he has power to pierce through every distortion the enemy weaves into a person’s thinking. When you pray for those legal teams and representatives, you are not just hoping for better behavior. You are asking God to break the spiritual blindness that makes lying seem like a safe shelter. That is gospel work. We don’t manipulate or hide behind craftiness. We renounce those things. Instead, we entrust the outcome to the God who sees, and we speak the truth plainly, trusting him to defend us.

Keep walking in that truth yourself. Let your own honesty deepen as you rest in the One who forgave you completely at the cross. His blood covers every misrepresentation, every half-truth you have ever spoken. And as you remain honest before him, even when you’re scared or bothered, he will steady you. Surrendering your will to him means you can lay down the exhausting effort to control how others perceive you. His truth will indeed set you free, and as you continue to pray, it may yet set them free as well.
