Pray for my son ### aka ### who his landlord had him arrested accused him of hitting him prior to to that my son called the police because he kept banging on his bedroom doors Calling him nigger low life my son is Puerto Rican caramel color now he has a court date in October he is afsid of going to jail he never was in trouble this man is on a wheel chair his name us ### thank you

We have heard your burden for your son and we are standing with you together in prayer before our heavenly Father. Our hearts are grieved to hear of the discrimination, the hateful language, and the false accusation he has endured, and we bring every detail of this situation before the Lord who sees all things and judges righteously.

We want to say clearly that the racial slur and demeaning words spoken against your son are sinful and evil in the eyes of God. God shows no partiality and He made every person in His image. As it is written, He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth Acts 17:26 and God shows no partiality, but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him Acts 10:34-35. To discriminate and to insult a brother because of the color of his skin is sin, for if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors James 2:9. We rebuke that hatred and pray that the landlord would repent of this wickedness.

We also grieve the false accusation. Your son called the police for help when his landlord was banging on his bedroom door and harassing him, and then he was the one arrested and accused of hitting a man in a wheelchair. The Lord hates false testimony. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor Exodus 20:16 and among the things the Lord hates are a lying tongue and a false witness who utters lies Proverbs 6:16-19. We pray that the truth, which may feel hidden now, will be brought into the light, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed Luke 8:17 and He will make your righteousness shine out as light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37:6.

We understand your son is afraid as his court date in October approaches, especially as he has never been in trouble before. We pray for the fear that is weighing on him and on you as his mother. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We claim His promise to your son, Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray that God would calm his heart, guard his mind with peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7, and help him to walk in integrity, for he who walks blamelessly walks surely Proverbs 10:9.

We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and hope in trouble. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you and your son to put your full trust in Jesus Christ, for He is our advocate and our defender when we are falsely accused.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ on behalf of this mother and her son. Lord, You know the truth of what happened in that home, You heard every hateful word spoken and You saw every action. We ask You to be his defender and his shield. We pray that You would expose every lie and let truth prevail in that courtroom in October. Give favor to this young man, give wisdom and diligence to any attorney or advocate who helps him, and give wisdom to the judge to discern what is true and to execute justice. You have called us to defend the weak and oppressed Psalm 82:3 and to seek justice Isaiah 1:17, so we ask for Your righteous justice to be done.

Lord, we pray for this son's heart. Remove fear and replace it with Your peace and courage. Comfort him in the night when anxiety rises, remind him that You are with him and that You will not forsake him. Help him to remain peaceful, respectful, and truthful through this process, and to document all that has happened. We pray for his mother, that You would strengthen her and give her peace as she waits and intercedes for her child.

We also pray for the landlord. Lord, we do not pray for vengeance, for vengeance belongs to You Romans 12:19, but we pray that You would convict his heart of hatred and falsehood, that he would repent and turn from doing harm. Soften his heart and bring him to the knowledge of Your truth.

We trust that even in this painful injustice You can work for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We entrust this son and his future into Your hands, asking that this trial would end with his name cleared and his life restored, and that Your name would be glorified through it. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to support your son in seeking wise legal counsel, keeping any records, messages, or police reports, and continuing to act peaceably while the Lord fights for him. The Lord is a stronghold in times of trouble Psalm 9:9 and He will not abandon those who seek Him. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep looking to Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have been carrying you and your son in our hearts since reading your request. To be harassed with such hateful language in his own home and then to be arrested on an accusation he says is false is a heavy burden for both of you. We understand why October feels so frightening for him, especially when he has never been in trouble before.

Thank you for standing by him and for seeking help when the harassment happened. That earlier call to the police and any record of it may be important.

While you continue to pray, we encourage a couple of steady next steps. If he does not already have one, help him connect soon with a trusted defense attorney or a local legal aid office so he does not face court alone. Gather what you have together for that attorney to review, the date and details of when he called for help, any paperwork from the arrest, and names of anyone who may have heard or seen what happened. An advocate who knows the local process can help him understand what to expect and speak for him.

In these weeks of waiting, stay close to him. Fear grows heavier in isolation, so keep checking in, listen without pressing for quick answers, and encourage steady routines and rest where you can.

Father, we lift this mother and her son to You. You see what happened behind closed doors and You know the truth. We ask for Your peace over his anxious heart, for wisdom and fairness for all who will be part of the court process, and for protection from further harm or insult. Guide those who will advise and represent him, surround this family with steady support, and lead them step by step in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your son has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard your cry with sorrow and with prayer.

To be reviled with cruel and hateful words, to be falsely accused, and to face the power of the law when you have done no wrong, is a heavy trial indeed. The Lord knows the truth of what was done behind that bedroom door, He hears every word spoken in malice, and He is no respecter of persons. He will judge with righteousness and bring to light the hidden things. Though man may pervert justice for a season, the Lord reigns and He will not suffer the innocent to be finally cast down when they put their trust in Him.

We understand well why your son is afraid before his court date in October, being one who has never been in such trouble before. Fear in such a case is natural, yet the Scripture speaks so tenderly and so often to this very infirmity. Again and again the Lord says, Fear not. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. It is not the preacher only who says Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers it to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as if His arm which piled the heavens could not sustain one poor tried child in his hour of need. To fear man is a snare, but to fear God with a holy awe and to trust His promised strength is deliverance.

We will pray for your son, that the Lord would be his helper and his shield. We ask that truth may be made plain before the court, that every false word may be shown for what it is, that justice may be done, and that he may be kept from all harm. We pray that the Lord would take away tormenting fear and give him perfect peace as he looks unto Jesus, that he would know the Lord is with him and will help him. We pray also that this trial may drive him to seek the forgiveness of sins which is only through the precious blood of Christ, for where forgiveness is given, there the Lord puts His holy fear within the heart and keeps His people from departing from Him.

May the Lord comfort your own heart as a mother who watches and intercedes. Cast both your son and his cause upon the Lord, for He cares for you. We will continue to remember him before the throne of grace, that whether in October or in all the days to come, he may find that the Lord is his refuge and his deliverer.

Fear not, for He has said, I will help thee.

Lord, we lift up this son to You. Stand beside him in his time of trouble and be his defender (Psalm 34:17-18). Open the eyes of the court to see the truth and let justice prevail (Proverbs 21:15). Calm his fears and replace anxiety with Your peace (Isaiah 41:10). Protect him from false accusations and let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Grant him favor before the judge and let the truth be made known. We ask for Your mercy and deliverance. In Jesus' name, Amen.*
