Discernment

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God please give me discernment and instructions accordingly to Your will concerning two separate but linked situations. I need to know Your will and in each case need to know about these people and the decisions You need me to take. Father God make it know to me Your will and plan in Jesus name Amen

We join you in seeking the Lord’s perfect will and discernment for these situations, for we know that His ways are higher than ours, and His wisdom far surpasses our own. The Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It is not by our own insight or strength that we walk rightly, but by the leading of the Holy Spirit, who guides us into all truth (John 16:13). You have done well to bring this before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and the assurance that our prayers are heard.

The apostle Paul urges us in Ephesians 5:15-17, *"Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."* Discernment is not merely about knowing what to do but also about recognizing the spirits at work in the people and circumstances around us (1 John 4:1). We must test all things against the Word of God, for many voices clamor for our attention, but only His voice brings life and peace.

As you seek the Lord’s will in these matters, we encourage you to spend time in His presence, meditating on His Word and listening for His still, small voice. The psalmist declares in Psalm 119:105, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."* If there is any hesitation or confusion, wait upon the Lord, for He will make His will known in His perfect timing. Do not rush ahead of Him, but surrender your desires and plans, asking that His kingdom purposes be fulfilled above all else.

We also caution you to examine your heart for any motives that may not align with God’s will. Are you seeking His glory, or is there a hint of self-interest, fear, or the influence of others clouding your judgment? James 4:3 warns, *"You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* Let your prayers be pure, submitted wholly to the Lord’s authority.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You grant them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ (Ephesians 1:17). Open their eyes to see what You are doing in these situations, and give them clarity to recognize Your voice above all others. Lord, if there are any deceitful or ungodly influences at work in the lives of these individuals or in the circumstances surrounding them, expose them by Your Holy Spirit. Give our sibling the courage to obey Your will, even if it requires difficult decisions or stepping away from what may seem comfortable or familiar.

Father, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), protecting them from the enemy’s schemes to confuse or distract. If there are relationships or decisions that do not align with Your Word, give them the strength to walk away, trusting that Your plans are for their good and Your glory (Jeremiah 29:11). Let them not lean on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways, so that You may direct their paths.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or indecision in the name of Jesus Christ. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we declare that the truth of God’s Word will prevail, and that our brother/sister will walk in the confidence of Your perfect will. May they be filled with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, as they wait upon You.

Lord, we thank You that You are not a God of disorder but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We trust that You will make Your will known clearly, and we ask that You would confirm it through Your Word, through godly counsel, and through the inner witness of the Holy Spirit. Give them patience to wait and faith to act when the time is right.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Amen.

As you move forward, continue to seek the Lord daily. Surround yourself with mature believers who can offer godly counsel and pray with you. Remember that the Lord delights in those who walk in obedience, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If at any point you sense the Holy Spirit prompting you to take a specific action—whether to speak, to wait, to step back, or to move forward—obey without delay. The Lord honors faith-filled obedience, and He will guide you every step of the way.

We're right there with you, seeking God's will in these situations. It's like we're standing together, looking up to the heavens, asking for His guidance. You know, sometimes I think we forget that God's not just some distant figure, but a loving Father who wants the best for us. He's not trying to hide His will from us; He wants us to understand it, to follow it.

I've been thinking about that verse in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." It's like, we can't just go with our gut or what makes the most sense to us. We need to surrender our will, our understanding, and trust that God knows best.

Let's not forget, God's not silent. He speaks to us through His Word, through the Holy Spirit, and sometimes, He uses other people too. So, let's be open to hearing from Him, wherever He chooses to speak.

I also want to encourage you to spend time in prayer and meditation. It's not always about getting an answer right away, but about being still and listening. Sometimes, God's will is revealed over time, as we walk with Him.

And hey, it's okay to feel uncertain. It's part of the journey. But remember, God is faithful. He won't leave you hanging. He'll guide you, step by step.

So, let's keep seeking Him together. Let's keep asking, keep listening, and keep trusting. Because at the end of the day, we know that His will is perfect, and it's always for our good and His glory.

Let's pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your need for divine discernment before the Lord these past few days. It has been our honor to stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s clear direction and wisdom as you navigate these interconnected situations. We know how deeply you desire to walk in alignment with His perfect will, and we’ve been earnestly asking the Father to open your eyes, your heart, and your spirit to His leading—whether through His Word, the quiet prompting of the Holy Spirit, or the godly counsel of others.

If the Lord has already begun to illuminate His path for you, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give Him glory together for His faithfulness. Even if His answer is unfolding gradually, we’d be encouraged to hear how He is working in the details.

If, however, the way forward still feels unclear, we want you to know we remain steadfast in prayer with you. The Lord is not silent, and His timing is perfect. Feel free to post an update or a new request so we can continue to intercede with you, asking for the Father’s peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him. He is the God who speaks—whether in a still small voice or through circumstances—and we trust He will make His will unmistakable in His way and in His time.

May you be strengthened with the assurance that He who began this good work in you will carry it through to completion. We are praying for you to sense His presence powerfully as you seek Him, remembering that His plans for you are good, even when the path isn’t yet fully revealed. Keep listening, keep trusting, and keep your heart open to however He chooses to guide you.

We are here with you, believing for clarity, wisdom, and the courage to obey—no matter what He asks. Praying for you in Jesus’ name.
