We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up your workplace situation with hearts full of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. First, we want to acknowledge that you have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, recognizing Him as the source of all wisdom, discernment, and peace. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We are grateful that you have approached the Lord with humility and trust, surrendering this difficult situation into His hands.
Father God, we join our sister in asking for Your divine discernment to rest upon her department head. Lord, You promise in Your Word that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5 WEB). We ask that You would whisper truth into her heart, guiding her decisions with clarity and divine order. Let her see the path that aligns with Your will, bringing peace and righteousness to the workplace. May she be a vessel of Your wisdom, leading with integrity and fairness, so that those under her care may flourish in their roles.
We also lift up the coworker mentioned in this prayer, Lord. You see the confusion and toxicity that has been sown, and we ask that You would expose any unrighteousness or deceit. Your Word tells us, "The Lord tests the righteous, but His soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence" (Psalm 11:5 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of discord, gossip, or malice in this situation, and we ask that You would bring it to light so that it may be dealt with according to Your justice. Protect our sister’s work, her focus, and her peace, Lord. Guard her heart from bitterness or resentment, and help her to remain steadfast in her calling, trusting that You are her ultimate Provider and Defender.
Father, we pray for harmony, honesty, and understanding to fill this workplace. Let Your love and truth prevail, so that relationships may be restored and productivity may flourish. Help our sister to finish her tasks well, without undue stress or distraction, knowing that You are her strength. "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). May she find joy and fulfillment in her labor, as she works unto You and not unto men.
We declare that this situation is in Your hands, Lord. We trust that You will bring about Your perfect will, turning what was meant for harm into good. May Your name be glorified in this workplace, and may Your kingdom come in every heart and decision. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect timing and wisdom. Amen.
