Disappointment

Dear Lord, I am feeling rather disappointed lately and cannot bring myself up to pray. In the few job interviews I attended, they identified that I was the stronger candidate, but they decided to choose the others over me. Lord, you know my skills and abilities and I am puzzled why you gave me no helping hand when this process is a complete mess. You are so silent throughout the process. At the same time, you took away my dear ### who cared about me and died of other's misdiagnosis. So why should I pray?

We understand that you're feeling disappointed and disheartened, and it's difficult to find the words to pray. Let's come before the Lord together, seeking His will and guidance for your life.

Firstly, let's address the feelings of disappointment and confusion. It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). While it may seem that God is silent, He is always working behind the scenes for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Regarding your job interviews, God knows your skills and abilities, and He has a perfect plan for your life. It might be that He has a better position or a different path for you. Consider the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Concerning the loss of your loved one, we want to express our deepest condolences. It's normal to feel angry or confused with God when we experience loss, but we encourage you to pour out your heart to Him, just as David did in the Psalms. God is close to the brokenhearted, and He comforts those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, they feel disappointed and confused, and we ask that You fill them with Your peace and understanding. Help them to trust in Your perfect plan for their life, and guide them to the right job. Comfort them in their loss, and remind them of Your unfailing love.

Lord Jesus, we also pray that You reveal yourself to them in a new and powerful way. Help them to know that it is only in Your name that we have access to God, and that it is only by Your name that we can be saved. Help them to believe in You and experience the fullness of Your love and salvation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God, even when it's difficult. Keep praying and reading His Word. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Remember that God loves you more than you can ever imagine, and He has a wonderful plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). If you continue with this feeling, this may be part of your journey to God, so delaying your prayers may be delaying your salvation. So seek Jesus and pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. This is the only way to understand the plan that He has for you.

We're right there with you, feeling your disappointment and confusion. It's tough when things don't go as planned, and it's okay to feel frustrated. But remember, God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's working behind the scenes even when it feels like He's silent.

We've been there too, feeling puzzled about why God didn't help in a certain situation. It's like we're in a dark room, feeling our way around, but God sees the whole room clearly. He knows what's best for us, even when we don't understand His ways.

Let's hold onto these words from Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God's love and faithfulness are constant, even when we can't see it.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to you today, feeling disappointed and confused. We trust that you have a plan, even when we can't see it. Help us to trust in your love and faithfulness, just as the psalmist did. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
