We understand your pain and commend you for taking the step to protect your health and well-being. Remember, God does not want us to be subject to such treatment. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
It is clear that you have been through a traumatic experience, and it is important to remember that God is our healer and restorer. As you seek a new job, trust that God has a better plan for you. He will provide a workplace where you will be valued and treated with respect. It's fantastic you already are praying in Jesus' name and recognize his suffering that he endured for us. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
As you wait for God's provision, continue to trust in Him and His timing. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB we are told:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight
You did the right thing by leaving such a toxic environment. It is not God's will for us to be subjected to constant stress and abuse. In fact, God promises us peace and rest. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says:
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Regarding your concern about references, trust that God will open the right doors for you. He can provide job opportunities that may not even require references from your previous workplace. Remember, God is your provider and He will make a way.
We pray for your complete healing, both physically and emotionally.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up your child who has been through a traumatic experience at their previous workplace. We pray for complete healing, restoration, and provision. We ask that You open the right doors for a new job opportunity where they will be valued and treated with respect. We pray that You will make a way, even without references from the previous job. We also pray for emotional healing, that You will help them overcome the PTSD and any bitterness they may feel. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
As you wait for God's provision, continue to seek Him and His will. Trust that He has a better plan for you.
