Thank you for sharing this honest prayer. Feeling that a situation is too heavy to handle alone is a place many have been, and it is good that you have turned to the Lord with it.
Jesus gave a clear invitation for exactly this kind of weariness when He said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. That promise helps us understand something important about burdens.
When a burden feels crushing and impossible to carry, it is not the burden the Lord Himself lays on you. His way of calling you to follow Him and to please Him is not meant to press you down with dread. What does weigh us down so heavily is often different. It can be the burden of trying to please ourselves, of carrying life in our own strength and trying to make everything work by our own effort. That way of living always leaves us restless and exhausted. Burdens can also come from pressures other people place on us, or from expectations we place on ourselves that God never required of us.
That is why Scripture gives you another invitation, to cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee, and to cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. God has shown Himself faithful to deliver in the past, and He hears you now. Bringing your burden to Him is not just telling Him about it, but actually placing it into His hands and trusting Him to carry you through it.
I am praying with you that God will step into these circumstances with His divine help. May He lift what is weighing you down, give you rest in Christ, sustain you day by day, and bring a solution that is aligned with His perfect and good will. May He also give you wisdom to see what part of this load you need to release to Him, and grace to walk in the lighter, satisfying path of living to please Him rather than straining under a weight He never asked you to bear.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this dear one before You. You see the heaviness of this situation and You care deeply. I ask that You intervene, ease this burden, and work in a way that honors Your will and brings peace. Teach this heart to cast every care on You and to find rest in Your easy yoke. Sustain and guide in the days ahead. In Jesus name, Amen.
