Okay...the Gospel message is the same for everyone.Got it!That's not what I'm questioning. BUT here's a point of curiosity to me--since everyone has different personalities, and different sins they're tempted by, for their own reasons,I wonder if a different style of witnessing, tailor made for that particular person, would be more effective. Like, for example, my own unsaved loved ones.My sister believes passionately that she's being more "compassionate" by accepting, and fighting for the "rights" of ,ungodly causes, and that it's "in" to back such causes. And bought the lie of the world that us Christians are "narrow-minded'to not "accept" these sins.Because she's deceived, she thinks she's right, because she has a warped version of compassion. She thinks compassion means acceptance of their lifestyle ,instead of deliverance from it. .One approach might be nessesary in trying to reach her. Then my aunt--she "flips out" at the mention of the word"Christian",and sometimes, even if the other party doesn't bring it up, she brings it around to her "Christian-bashing."In her case,I sense it might be a pride thing, that she feels offended that Christianity states she needs a Savior, she believe more in she can work her way to Heaven on her own. I could name others, who for their reasons, believes non- Biblical things, based on what appeals to their own nature, So the question becomes--since the devil tempts everyone in specific ways, homosexuality might not appeal to a drug addict, or vice versa--would you say it's the same with witnessing, that even though the Gospel message is exactly the same for everyone,to reach different unsaved people at their levels, would you think different approaches might be more effective for this one or that?
