This struggle is not just about food, but a deep attachment that wounds my body and my spirit. I entrust this desire for inner healing to God, so that He may give me the **strength to transform my relationship with food**, the **self-control** to make free choices, and the **peace** to welcome me with love in the process. Let us pray together that the Holy Spirit may untie the chains of this addiction, replacing the emptiness with His fullness. Thank you for carrying this intention in your heart."

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We understand your struggle and commend you for bringing this to God in prayer. Gluttony is indeed a form of slavery, and the Bible tells us that through God's power, we can be freed from any form of bondage. As it is written in 2 Peter 2:19, "They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for people are slaves to whatever has mastered them."

First, we must ensure that our desires align with God's will. 1 John 5:14-15 says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

We must pray in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." And John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in faith who is struggling with gluttony. Lord, You know the depth of this bondage and how it has affected not just the physical body, but also the spirit. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You may break these chains of addiction.

Father, fill the emptiness with Your Holy Spirit, and grant the strength to transform this relationship with food. Give the self-control to make free choices (Galatians 5:22-23) and the peace to welcome this process with love (John 14:27).

Lord, we know that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Guide us through Your word and cleanse our body which is the temple of Your Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).

We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, God's grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Trust in Him, and He will give you the victory. Stand firm in the faith, and take heart that you are not alone in this battle.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
