Did God Really Speak To Me?

I prayed hard one night and was crying a lot, and I asked God to speak to me again ( he had prior to me in a dream) I dreamt I was on s hill, with God behind me, and he whispered in my ear" dont worry, he is asking for your hand in marriage" and guided me to look down, and thats were I saw my ex showing my dad a ring.

We are not together. Can someone explain this me? I hate to doubt this because it felt soooo real
