Diarespectful and defiant students

Eriedor

Disciple of Prayer
There are 3 female students in my 5th period class that have decided to gang up on me with hurtful words and not doing what I tell them to do. It's a daily thing. I stay calm and not respond to them. I have reported them to administration but it continues. I have anointed my room and every chair. I have pleaded the blood of Jesus over my class. Please come in agreement with me for peace and respect in my classroom. Is there more that I can do? Thank you!

We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting up your classroom and these young hearts to the Lord. The disrespect and defiance you are facing is not merely a behavioral issue—it is a manifestation of a deeper spiritual struggle. We rebuke the spirits of rebellion, disobedience, and division that have taken root in these students, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The Word declares in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." You are not fighting against these children, but against the forces that seek to destroy their hearts and disrupt the peace of your classroom.

We praise God for your faithfulness in remaining calm and not responding in kind. Your restraint is a powerful testimony of Christ’s love, and it aligns with His instruction in Romans 12:19-21: "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore, 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Your example is planting seeds, even if you do not yet see the fruit.

We also commend you for taking spiritual authority by anointing your room, pleading the blood of Jesus, and standing on God’s promises. These are powerful acts of faith, and we join you in declaring that your classroom is covered by the blood of Christ and that no weapon formed against you or your students shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). However, we must also address the need for continued prayer and action on multiple fronts.

First, we encourage you to persist in prayer—not just for peace, but for the salvation and transformation of these students. Pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." These students are in bondage to rebellion, and only the power of Christ can set them free.

Second, we urge you to continue seeking wisdom and support from godly leaders in your school and church. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory." Do not bear this burden alone. Seek out fellow believers who can pray with you, offer advice, and perhaps even mentor these students if the opportunity arises. There may also be godly teachers or administrators who can provide additional strategies or interventions to address the root of the behavior.

Third, consider how you might show these students the love of Christ in tangible ways. While it is not your responsibility to condone their behavior, it is your calling to reflect Christ’s love, even to those who persecute you. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This does not mean you should tolerate disrespect, but it does mean you can respond with grace, patience, and a heart that desires their redemption. Perhaps there are small ways you can build bridges—offering encouragement when they do something right, showing interest in their lives, or simply praying for them by name.

We also want to address the importance of your own spiritual protection and renewal. Battles like this can be draining, and it is essential that you guard your heart and mind. Spend time in God’s Word daily, allowing His truth to renew your strength. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Surround yourself with a community of believers who can uplift you, pray for you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. Do not neglect your own need for rest, both physically and spiritually.

Let us now come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this faithful teacher and her classroom to You, asking for Your divine intervention and protection. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of rebellion, disobedience, and division that has taken root in these students. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your peace and order will reign in this classroom.

Father, we ask that You soften the hearts of these young girls. Break the chains of defiance and pride that bind them, and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience Your love in a way that transforms their hearts and minds. We pray for their salvation, Lord, that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior and turn away from the ways of the world.

We also pray for wisdom and strength for this teacher. Give her discernment to know how to handle each situation with grace and authority. Strengthen her when she feels weary, and remind her that her labor in You is not in vain. Surround her with godly support, both in her school and in her church, so that she does not grow discouraged.

Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over this classroom, over every student, and over this teacher. Let Your presence fill this space, driving out every spirit of strife and discord. We declare that this classroom is a place of learning, respect, and peace, under the lordship of Christ.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your light shine through the darkness, and let Your name be exalted. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm, dear sister in Christ. Your faithfulness is not going unnoticed, and God is using you to plant seeds that will bear fruit in His perfect timing. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We stand with you, believing that God will bring peace and respect to your classroom.

We're right there with you, dear teacher, lifting up your classroom and those young hearts to the Lord. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're standing with you, believing that God is going to turn this situation around.

We've been thinking about how you might also consider setting aside some time each day, maybe even just a few minutes, to pray specifically for each of those three students. You could ask God to soften their hearts, to open their minds to His truth, and to help them see the value in respecting you and their peers. We believe that God can use your prayers to make a real difference in their lives.

Also, have you thought about writing a letter to each of them? It could be a note of encouragement, expressing your desire for them to succeed and your belief in their potential. You could share a bit about how their actions affect not just you, but their classmates as well. It's a gentle way to remind them of the importance of respect and kindness, and it might just help them see the impact of their words and actions.

We'll keep praying with you, dear sister, trusting that God will bring peace and understanding to your classroom. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that every effort you make is planting seeds that will bear fruit in His perfect timing. We're believing in a turnaround, and we're here for you every step of the way.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Thank you all for praying for me and my situation. Today the principal spoke to the girls and they came to class very quietly. They never said a word during the whole class time. There was 1 missing. During class I just kept saying under my breath, "Thank you Jesus for peace that passes all understanding". But what really got me was when a Teacher came to my class and gave me a note from a student that I didn't know, and wrote me a card saying, "Thank you for being the Teacher that you are". Then after school a custodian came into my class and I said, "Oh I'll get out of your way". He said, "No stay, I want to talk to you" He went on about how the class never looked better. It was always clean and smelled good. He asked around who's the new Teacher and they told him. As I was going down the stairs to go home 3 of my students came running to me for a hug and wanted to know if they were my favorite students. I didn't expect that. Then as I went to the office the Principal smiled at me. As I was walking to my car and got into it I felt the Holy Spirit telling me that all those compliments were God giving me a hug and telling me how much He loves me. I started crying and couldn't stop. The goodness of God is so great and powerful. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. Your prayers helped so much! God Bless you!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

Blessings to all. I want to give you guys an update. This morning I anointed my class again. The doorway and the chairs. I prayed the prayer that was posted throughout the class. Every class was peaceful and respectable except when 5th period came. Not only did the girls continue their disrespect but they were able to convince 3 boys to harass me too. I had to move 1 one the boys who was texting things on his cell and playing it out loud. Inappropriate things about me. The girls were laughing the whole time the boys were harassing me. I maintained my composure and ignored them. I text the principal to please come to my class letting her know what was going on. She had another male teacher come to my class. Once the male teacher left they just continued. When the bell rang and they left the Holy Spirit told me that because I had anointed my class the demons in these children were attacking me because they hated the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We want to thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this challenging time in your classroom. It is a privilege to lift up your request for peace and respect, and we have continued to intercede on your behalf, asking the Lord to move mightily in the hearts of these students and in the atmosphere of your classroom.

We are holding fast to the promise that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them. We have prayed for wisdom for you as you navigate this situation, for divine intervention in the lives of these young ladies, and for the protection and covering of the blood of Jesus to be ever-present in your classroom. We have also asked the Lord to soften hearts, to bring conviction where it is needed, and to replace defiance with a spirit of cooperation and respect.

If you have seen any change—whether in the students' behavior, in your own peace, or in the overall atmosphere of your classroom—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the situation remains unchanged, please know that we are still here to stand with you. Consider posting this request again so we can continue to lift it up before the Lord, trusting that He hears our prayers and is at work even when we cannot see it.

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep standing on God’s Word and His promises. You have already taken powerful steps by anointing your room, pleading the blood of Jesus, and maintaining your calm in the face of disrespect. We pray that the Lord would reveal any additional steps you might take, whether through prayer strategies, godly counsel, or practical measures. Remember that the battle is not yours alone, but the Lord’s, and He is faithful to fight on your behalf.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May you continue to feel His presence and strength as you seek Him daily. We are believing with you for a breakthrough and for His glory to be revealed in this situation.

We continue to pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
