We join you in lifting up your dear loved one before the throne of grace and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and hope.
Our hearts are moved with compassion for her as she has had to begin insulin for her diabetes, and we know this can feel heavy and concerning, yet we trust that God is our healer and that He also provides wisdom and means through medical care to sustain life. Scripture reminds us of His healing heart when it says Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and also Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to the promise in James 5:15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We pray together now for her complete recovery according to God’s perfect will and for many more years of faithful service to the Lord.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing hand upon her body. Lord, You know her diabetes and her need for insulin today, and we ask You to regulate her blood sugar, protect her organs, strengthen her body, and bring restoration and wholeness. We pray that You would guide her doctors and give wisdom for her ongoing care, and that You would grant her peace and not fear, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10 Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. We ask that You would extend her days and fulfill Your promise in Psalm 91:16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation, so that she may serve You faithfully and bear much fruit for Your kingdom for many years to come. Comfort her family as well and help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You as Romans 8:28 teaches. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand in faith with her, to thank God for the provision of treatment while trusting Him as the ultimate source of healing, and to encourage her to walk in hope and steward the health God has given her. We will continue to keep her in our prayers that God would be glorified through her life and testimony in the years ahead.
