A prayer for God's peace

'You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you.' Isaiah 26:3 NLT



God's peace doesn't mean we'll have a stress-free life. Instead, it gives us the security of knowing that when problems come, we don't have to be anxious, because God is with us.
Today, pray this prayer for God's peace: 'Lord, your Word says, "God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ" (Philippians 4:7 NCV). Today, I need this amazing peace to settle my nerves and calm my mind. Fill my heart with your peace, until there's no room left for stress and worry. Your Word says, "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust you" (Isaiah 26:3 NLT). Instead of focusing on my fears, help me focus on your goodness, faithfulness, healing power, overflowing resources, and forgiving heart. Jesus said, "I leave you peace...So don't let your hearts be troubled or afraid" (John 14:27 NCV). Lord, show me what can rob me of your peace. I really want to know, so I know what I need to confess, what I need to commit to, and what I need to change. Your Word says, "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts" (Colossians 3:15 NIV). Today, I want to be ruled by your peace instead of my fears and worries. So I give all my concerns to you. I trust you to work them out for my good and for your glory. Thank you for the gift of peace that you offer to me. In Jesus' name I pray: Amen.'

Thank you for your sharing, we can pray all the time, we can ask for peace when we are in storm or face challenge. It works for me all the time, when my boss called my name or i have to answer his queries, if I don’t pray before go to his room, I will have hard time, not if I pray before go into his room, he will ease on me, thank you God

Amen! Awe the instructions Jesus gives us! To blindly wholeheartedly give up on our thoughts for ourselves is paradise on earth in Jesus especially if we lay hold on His Promises and only claim what Jesus says about us is Heaven! I count it all as joy for the peace that Jesus gives me is so good that it is overwhelming at times! I am not my own in Jesus! I am bought with a price that Jesus paid! Jesus made me the righteousness of God in Christ so that others might see and become saved, I give up ALL of my life for that! No weapon formed against me can prosper against me in Jesus even if I devised or made that weapon! All of the beasts of the field are at peace with me in Jesus! I have favor in everythings eyes in Jesus, even in my enemies! If Jesus is for me who or even what can be against me! Anything I ask for is done for me and given to me in Jesus so I put my fleshly mind down and turn off negativity in Jesus and cast it away and remain silent if I have a negative thought in Jesus! My life is not mine but fully belongs to Jesus, the ONE that saved my soul and saved my life on many occasions! The rattle snake that was less than an inch away didn't harm me, the leopard that was somewhat above me couldn’t harm me because they saw their creator in me! Job 5:23 And I told the beasts Jesus says we are at peace with each other! I can go on and on but Thank you for your post and Thank You Lord Jesus for putting Your Word in me and putting Your Peace in me! Glory to You Lord Jesus!
