'Treat others as you want them to treat you.' Matthew 7:12 CEV

The Bible often tells us to put others first, showing them compassion, care and love. Jesus sums it up in a single sentence: 'Treat others as you want them to treat you' (Matthew 7:12 CEV). We can find a similar phrase in other religions and cultures around the world, but these are usually worded passively, along the lines of 'Don't do to others what you wouldn't like done to yourself' or 'Don't do to something to another person that you would find hurtful'. It's only a small difference, but it means so much.
It's much harder to actively do something than to passively not do something. If Jesus had also worded it passively, all we'd need to do is to stay away from people, so we couldn't harm or upset them. It would give us an easy way out to avoid people we don't really get on with or prefer to avoid.
But Jesus tells us to actively seek out ways to show love and compassion to others. There are no exceptions. Earlier, Jesus had explained 'You have heard that it was said, "Love your neighbour and hate your enemy." But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in Heaven' (Matthew 5:43-45 NIV). It's a high standard to aim for, but with God's help, it's something we can achieve.

So what now? Do something extra for each person living in your house today. Make them breakfast, or do their washing up, or take them out for coffee.

I like the message for today..years ago I read a poem which was distributed in an article by a religious organization. The theme of the poem was " Ready for Christmas".I am very much aware that people have different beliefs about Christmas .Putting that aside I am focusing on the aspect of giving ,caring , helping and spreading cheer to others.Accorging to the poem no matter how you clean, wash, cook, decorate, renovate you are not ready for Christmas until yiu gice to others annd share with those who are in need.We are our brother's keeper.Let us practise to show concern for others all year round. This is a part of Christian livinf.

So very true, it really makes me ill to walk in stores these days as they display trees, lights, Santa, toys! This is not the time to update your children’s toys! The stores are so flooded and nothing about Jesus! It is like they are puking Christmas everywhere! People say come on get in the Christmas spirit! I say not, to whomever you and the stores are celebrating! It is not Jesus! Take your kids to a soup kitchen! Pass out meals to elderly! Send socks and toilet tissue to our soldiers, THAT WAS JESUS WAS ABOUT! Participate in All church events during the season and offer to help in any way event fit is small! Helping people is spreading the word about Jesus! Go yes therefore! Amen! I know you guys may be the choir I am preaching to! But it starts with us and our people to get thatBIGGER TRAIN MOVING! Amen!

There is one more thing! I see a movement that has to do with the WORD POLICE of the United States, but NOTTA to do with with making you say any corrected words to please others! Such as Snow person, not Snowman! Or mail person NOT mailman! It was even taught to us in English that if you are speaking in general to people, then you always speak to male! Mailman, Armymen, Policemen! Etc! This SHOULD BE VERY SCARY! Because it has to do with gender identity!
That boys should should not be boys etc, girls should not be girls! As I see teachers saying No, to instructions involving treating boys as girls! And it had 110% to do with Obama’s pedophiliabathroom laws he put in place! So, those evil people are attacking us from all areas as it may not seem like it, but prayers needed to protect our freedoms of speech, religion! I think Atheist get confused about our freedom of religion! It means freedom to have no religion or to have any of the many religions here in the USA! As they are trying to rid Christians!
We must always fight daily for our God given rights and freedoms inherited to us! We have to be vigilant and participants to fight for our freedom! God gives us a choice as he does not force filling him upon anyone! As those forceful religions? Who want to control your freedoms are questionable and a war tactics to take over a country! Satan isindeed rampant! As prayers for our country should be daily! Amen! Thank you!
P.s. I am a med retired nurse who stays on top of current events as much as possible! I have been a twitter fan of Trumps since before 2007! There are so many YouTube videos of him talking about what he would do as president as was called by congress about a approx decade ago to help them solve their budget crisis! Trump has never done anything the media constantly makes up weekly! Trump is 100% true for the people, we MUST elect him in 2020. The corruption runs so deep!l. Prayers!
