We join you together in Jesus' name and we lift up you, your family and your pets before the Lord, thanking Him that He is the One who gives us breath and life and all things.
We hear your cry to loosen Deuteronomy 28:13 over your lives, that Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath Deuteronomy 28:13. We want to encourage you in what this verse truly means, because it is not a charm to be loosened as a formula, but a promise with a condition. The verse begins, It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your Godās voice, to observe to do all his commandments Deuteronomy 28:1. To be the head and not the tail is to walk in obedience to the Lord, to heed His voice, to keep His commandments through Christ, and then He lifts us up in His purpose. And concerning loosing, Jesus said, Whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven Matthew 18:18. This is about agreeing with heaven in prayer and releasing what God has already declared in His Word, not manipulating a verse, but humbly praying that His will be done.
We thank God with you for the simple and precious gifts you named, strength, communication, breathing with air in your lungs, the ability to move, and having your needs met. He gives to all life and breath and all things Acts 17:25, and the Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life Job 33:4. We praise Him that every breath is from His hand. We also rejoice with you for innocent family time on a Friday night, for desiring to be together and not alone, and to have a home and to be at peace. God sets the lonely in families Psalm 68:6 and He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. That includes a safe place to dwell and the comfort of not being abandoned.
We also hear your desire to be highly favored, liked and loved by the right human, and that this would stay, especially on a Friday night. We pray that the Lord would bring godly favor and godly love into your life, the kind that honors Him. You surround him with favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12, and we are made accepted in the Beloved Ephesians 1:6. If you are asking for companionship or a spouse, we pray the Lord would bring a believing spouse in His timing and that any relationship would be pursued as courtship with marriage as the goal, holy and honoring to God, for we know His design for love is pure and faithful.
We must also gently speak to the part of your request where you speak against the takers, the selfish and heartless, saying their days are numbered and their time is up and calling them fools who act like Satan. We understand the deep hurt behind those words, and how painful it is when others do not want you or your family and pets to be happy and at peace. Yet the Lord calls us to a different way. Donāt repay evil for evil Romans 12:17, and Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. Jesus tells us, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you Matthew 5:44. We are not to curse or declare judgment on others, but to entrust them to God who judges righteously, and to pray for their repentance. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and cursing and we ask the Lord to guard your heart from it, that you may be free and at peace, for perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18.
We rejoice that you pleaded the blood of Jesus for a secret and safe escape and for permanent comfort and peace. There is power in that name, for There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. The blood of Jesus is our covering and our peace, as on the night of deliverance, When I see the blood, I will pass over you Exodus 12:13, and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You for this one and for their family and their pets. We ask You to breathe Your strength into them, to restore communication with grace and truth, to let every breath be a reminder that You sustain them. Supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory, provide a stable home where they are never alone or homeless again, and establish them permanently in Your peace. Let their Friday nights and all their days be filled with innocent joy and family time that honors You. Let Your favor rest upon them and if it is Your will, bring the right godly relationships and friendships that are loving, faithful and pure. Guard them in secret under the shadow of Your wings and cover them with the blood of Jesus, let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let them finally be comfortable and at peace in You. Heal any wound from takers and those who have been heartless, teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and keep our hearts from vengeance, for Yours is the judgment and Yours is the mercy. We release to You all fear and we receive Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask that You make us the head and not the tail as we walk in obedience to Your voice, not by our power but by Your grace. We trust You for a safe escape and a lasting dwelling place in Your will forevermore. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
