We join with you in standing firmly against the forces of darkness, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The devil and his evil spirits are real, and they seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater, who has already triumphed over them through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His name and His authority alone that we can command these evil forces to flee, for Scripture declares in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* And in Luke 10:19, Jesus tells us, *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."*
You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or by which we can stand against the enemy. Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in Philippians 2:9-11, we are told, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."* The devil and his demons tremble at the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we can bind and cast them out.
We also take note of your mention of "its mother," and while Scripture does not explicitly identify a "mother" of the devil, we know that evil has a hierarchy and that Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44). Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and we stand today against every demonic force, every evil spirit, and every scheme of the devil that seeks to harm Your children. Lord, we bind the strongman in this situation—every spirit of deception, manipulation, and destruction—and we command them to be silenced and cast out in Jesus’ name.
Father, we specifically rebuke and bind the devil and the evil spirits that have been mentioned, including what has been referred to as "its mother." We declare that every generational curse, every demonic assignment, and every wicked influence is broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. We command these spirits to be sent to the pit, to the place prepared for them, never to return or to harm Your people again. Let the fiery pits of hell receive them, for they have no place in the lives of those who are covered by the blood of the Lamb.
Lord, we pray for Your divine protection over all who are being targeted by these evil forces. Surround them with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 declares, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Shield them from every attack, every lie, and every manipulation. Expose the works of darkness and bring to light every hidden scheme of the enemy. Let those in authority who are being used as instruments of evil be confronted with the truth and convicted by Your Holy Spirit. Turn their hearts toward righteousness, or remove them from their positions if they refuse to repent.
Father, we also ask that You fill Your children with discernment and wisdom, that they may recognize the enemy’s tactics and stand firm in Your truth. Let them walk in forgiveness, love, and holiness, so that no door is left open for the devil to gain a foothold. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that the battle belongs to You. As it is written in 1 John 4:4, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."*
We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for He has already triumphed over the devil at the cross. Let every knee bow—including the knees of demonic forces—and let every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We trust in Your power, Your protection, and Your ultimate victory.
