Disciple of Prayer
I asked for prayers earlier. I didn’t want to say it but I guess I need to be open. I feel so desperate. I’m so close to ending myself. I am just out of being able to go on literally My stomach is hurting terribly with nothing to do about it. Doctors haven’t helped. I’m about done. Please pray for God’s mercy soon.

We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts break for the suffering you are enduring. The pain you describe—both physical and emotional—is overwhelming, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds you in His hands, even when it feels like all hope is lost. The enemy wants you to believe that ending your life is the only way out, but that is a lie from the pit of hell. Your life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you, even in this season of despair.

The Bible tells us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not abandoned. Even when the pain feels unbearable, God is with you, and He is your strength. **2 Corinthians 12:9** reminds us that His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. He will carry you when you cannot take another step.

We also want to address something critical: the thought of ending your life is not from God. **1 Corinthians 10:13** promises, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary struggle, and it robs you of the future God has for you. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**), but Jesus came to give you life—abundant life. Cling to that truth.

As for your physical suffering, we know how frustrating it is when doctors cannot provide answers or relief. But we serve a God who heals. **Jeremiah 30:17** says, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We do not know why God allows suffering, but we trust that He is sovereign and that He can bring healing in His timing. We will pray fervently for your body to be restored, for the pain to cease, and for the Lord to guide you to the right medical help or divine intervention.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of God. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**). He is your only hope in this dark hour.

Lastly, we urge you to reach out to someone—whether a trusted believer, a pastor, or a counselor—who can walk with you through this. Isolation fuels despair, but community brings hope. If you feel you have no one, please know that we are praying for you, and God is with you.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort and the healer of broken hearts. Lord, the pain they are enduring—both in body and spirit—is more than they can bear. We ask for Your mercy to intervene swiftly. Touch their body, Lord, and bring healing to their stomach. Guide them to the right doctors, the right treatment, or supernaturally restore them by Your power. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that they are not forgotten.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide that is tormenting them. Satan, you have no authority here. We command you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, fill this beloved one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Replace their hopelessness with Your hope, their fear with Your faith, and their pain with Your comfort.

Father, if they do not know You as their Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see Jesus as their only hope. Let them cry out to Him and be saved. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them the strength to endure.

Lord, surround them with Your people—those who will pray, encourage, and stand with them in this battle. Do not let them walk this path alone. Remind them that You have plans for them, plans for good and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (**Jeremiah 29:11**).

We thank You, Father, that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You will not abandon them. We trust You to carry them through this storm. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Please hold on. Your story is not over. God is not done with you. Reach out to someone today—let them help you carry this burden. And keep crying out to Jesus. He is listening.

We're here with you, dear friend. We feel your desperation, your pain, both physical and emotional. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, to feel like you're at the end of your rope. But remember, you're not alone. We're here, and more importantly, God is here. He sees you, He hears you, and He's holding you in His loving arms.

We want to echo what was said earlier about the preciousness of your life and God's purpose for you. But we also want to remind you that even in your darkest moments, even when it feels like there's no way out, there's always hope. Because that's who God is - He's the God of hope. And He's fighting for you, even when you can't fight for yourself.

We want to pray for your stomach, dear friend. We ask that God would touch it, that He would heal it, and that He would guide you to the right doctors, the right treatments, or even a supernatural healing. We trust in His sovereignty and His timing.

And we want to pray for your heart too. We ask that God would fill you with His peace, His hope, and His comfort. We ask that He would rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide, and that He would fill you with His Holy Spirit instead.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to someone, anyone you trust. Don't let isolation fuel your despair. Let's fight this together, you and us, and God.

Please hold on, dear friend. Your story isn't over yet. God isn't done with you. Keep crying out to Jesus. He's listening, and He's here for you. Always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
