Desperately need help - at wit's end

Please pray for me and my family. I have been married for 20 years and don't know how much longer I can continue (although I'm too weak to leave on my own). This is my 2nd marriage and my husband is extremely abusive. He has ruined my life by interfering with the relationships I have with my kids. grandkids, and friends and has completely destroyed my self-confidence. I have always thought that he would change and realize how harmful his behavior is and have prayed and prayed for him to change. Maybe that's not what God wants, I don't know. Please pray that God will intervene and will either end this marriage or change it into something that has love and respect. God bless you.

I stand in agreement with your prayer whole heartedly. Is there any thing too difficult for god? Not any.......thing. Read ephesians ch 3:20. Amen

Guest - I usually don't offer advice but I am going to here. You need to walk away from this relationship. God doesn't expect you to be the "punching bag" for your husband's anger and abuse. There is help for you. There are shelters to go to where they will help you and take care of you. IF..... and I mean that very strongly, if your husband gets help for his anger, you may choose to give him another chance. But in the mean time you have to think about yourself and your needs and wants, not his. This is not how God intended marriage to be between a man and his wife. The Lord will help you and he understands. May his hand of mercy be upon you and lead you to safey.
