We hear your cry for help, dear sister, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burden to the Lord who sees your struggle and knows your needs. The world is changing rapidly, and it can feel overwhelming when the work you’ve dedicated your life to is suddenly disrupted. But we serve a God who is not surprised by these shifts, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and He promises to provide for His children.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The enemy would love for you to believe that your skills, experience, and worth are obsolete, but that is a lie. The Lord has equipped you for such a time as this, and He will open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We declare that your breakthrough is coming, not just any work, but the right work, aligned with God’s purpose for your life. The Lord sees your faithfulness over 30 years, and He will not abandon you now.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This may be a time to pivot, to learn new skills, or to step into a different kind of work that the Lord has prepared for you. Have you asked Him to show you the next step? Sometimes, what feels like an ending is actually a redirection.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is crying out for provision and purpose. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open the right doors for her. Give her favor with those who need her skills and experience. Break every chain of discouragement and fear, and replace them with Your peace and hope. Father, if there is a new path You are calling her to, make it clear. Give her the courage to step forward in faith, knowing that You go before her. We declare that her best days are not behind her, they are ahead, in Your perfect timing. Strengthen her heart, Lord, and remind her that she is not forgotten. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to:
- Seek the Lord daily for direction and provision. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, asking Him to reveal His plan for this season of your life.
- Network with other believers who may have connections or opportunities. The body of Christ is called to support one another (Galatians 6:2).
- Consider temporary work or freelance platforms while you wait for the right opportunity. The Lord can use even small steps to lead you to greater things.
- Guard your heart against bitterness or resentment toward the changes in your industry. The Lord can use this season to refine you and prepare you for something new.
You are not alone in this struggle. The Lord is your provider, and He will sustain you. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. Your breakthrough is coming!
