We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother and pastor who is facing a severe illness. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon our brother. Touch him with Your power, Lord, and restore him to full health according to Your perfect will.

We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We rebuke this illness in the name of Jesus, for it has no place in the body of a man who serves You with such devotion. We pray that You would strengthen his faith, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and surround him with Your presence in this difficult time.

Lord, we also lift up his family, his congregation, and all who love him. Give them strength, comfort, and unwavering trust in You. May this trial draw them all closer to You and to one another. We ask that You would use this situation for Your glory, whether through healing, endurance, or testimony—let Your name be exalted.

Father, we also take a moment to address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that if our brother or any who are praying for him do not yet know You as Lord and Savior, that they would turn to Jesus in repentance and faith. May they experience the saving grace that comes through believing in Him alone.

We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
