Depression

I need healing from a very severe form of depression that has literally left me bedridden. I don't know how to go on. It isdestroying my life as well as my husband. Meds dont work on me.

Merciful Father, mender of broken hearts and the true healer of all our afflictions, I am praying for healing for Joydiane and her husband in both body and spirit. May the Holy Spirit teach her to set her mind on the Spirit instead of the flesh so she could have life and peace. May she learn to cast all her anxiety to you O Lord for you care for her (1 Peter 5:6-7). I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

 

Praying you will live your life to serve God. Amen.

Joydiane, I understand all to well this type of pain myself and even being stuck in the bed.

Lord God please lift your sweet child JoyDiane into your arms. Please fill her heart with your love and light. Please Lord ease her pain and drain her worries away. Fill her please o Lord with your strength and courage. Lord please send your angels and guides to JoyDiane to help heal her in this her time of need. Blessed be the Lord, Amen.

After the prayers I wanted to share the following things I tried that sometimes worked I know we only usually post prayers but this kind of thing is a big deal and I've been through it and found a few things that helped and I just had to share in case it might help you:

1)Coffee maker in the bedroom, wake to smell of coffee and have a cup. (often helped)

2)Get in shower and decide wether or not to stay in bed in the shower. Maybe husband pulls you into shower? (this helped alot)

3) Make lists of things to do for a daily routine and cross off: wake,shower,brush teeth,walk 1x around block etc... this has saved me sometimes.
