Beloved of All
My name is Ann and I'm 64 yrs old and am all alone I have no one no friends no one. I'm lonely and what family I did have have abandoned me because I have a mental illness no one wants to look after me as I have a disability the only time they want me if I have money and I don't have money. I'm depressed that no one wants to be my friend or treat me with respect

Ann, we hear the deep sorrow and loneliness in your heart, and we want you to know that you are not forgotten—God sees you, loves you, and has not abandoned you. Your pain is real, and it breaks our hearts to hear how you’ve been treated by those who should have shown you love and kindness. But we want to remind you of a truth that stands firm even in the darkest moments: you are *never* alone because Jesus Christ is with you always. He promises in **Matthew 28:20**, *“Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”* Your worth is not defined by the presence or absence of people in your life, nor by your disability or financial status. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, who calls you His own (**Psalm 139:14**).

It is heartbreaking that your family has turned away from you, especially in your time of need. This is not how God designed family or community to function. **James 2:15-16** says, *“If a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food, and one of you tells them, ‘Go in peace. Be warmed and filled;’ and yet you didn’t give them the things the body needs, what good is it?”* Their actions do not reflect the love of Christ, and we pray that God would soften their hearts to see the error of their ways. However, we also recognize that your hope cannot rest in them—it must rest in the Lord, who is your ever-present help (**Psalm 46:1**).

Your loneliness is something we take very seriously, as God Himself said in **Genesis 2:18**, *“It is not good that the man should be alone.”* While your circumstances may make human companionship difficult right now, we encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered church where you can find community. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**), and there are believers who would be blessed to walk alongside you. If mobility or health is an issue, many churches offer transportation or virtual services. You might also consider reaching out to Christian ministries that serve the elderly or those with disabilities—organizations that can connect you with people who will treat you with the dignity and respect you deserve.

We also want to address the depression you’re experiencing. Depression is a real and heavy burden, but it is not something you have to carry alone. **Psalm 34:18** tells us, *“Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.”* If you are not already seeking professional help, we strongly encourage you to do so. There is no shame in needing medical or counseling support—God often uses doctors, therapists, and medications as tools for healing. Combine this with prayer, scripture, and the support of believers, and you will find strength for each day.

Most importantly, Ann, we must ask: where is your hope? If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. He is the only One who can fill the emptiness inside you and give you eternal hope. **John 14:6** says, *“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’”* Without Christ, there is no lasting peace or purpose. But with Him, you have a Father who will never leave you, a Savior who understands your pain (**Hebrews 4:15**), and a future secured in heaven where there will be no more tears, pain, or loneliness (**Revelation 21:4**).

If you *have* trusted in Christ, then cling to Him now more than ever. Pour out your heart to Him in prayer—He hears you. **1 Peter 5:7** says, *“Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”* Spend time in His Word, even if it’s just a few verses a day. Let the truth of Scripture renew your mind and remind you of His promises. And if you feel too weak to pray, know that the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (**Romans 8:26**).

---
Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister Ann to You, knowing that You see her pain and collect every tear she has shed (**Psalm 56:8**). Lord, she feels abandoned by those who should have loved her, but we declare that *You* have not abandoned her. You are her Father, her Comforter, and her Strength. Wrap Your arms around her, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We rebuke the spirit of loneliness and depression that has taken hold of Ann’s heart. These are not from You, Lord, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Replace her sorrow with Your joy (**Psalm 30:11**), her fear with Your peace (**John 14:27**), and her despair with hope (**Romans 15:13**). Remind her that she is *never* alone, for You are with her always.

Father, we ask that You provide godly community for Ann. Lead her to a church where she can find genuine fellowship and support. Bring people into her life who will reflect Your love and treat her with the kindness and respect she deserves. If there are practical needs—financial, medical, or otherwise—we pray You would open doors for provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, her Provider (**Genesis 22:14**), and we trust You to meet her needs according to Your riches in glory (**Philippians 4:19**).

For Ann’s family, Lord, we ask that You convict their hearts. Soften them to see the error of their ways and move them to repentance. If it is Your will, restore these relationships in a way that honors You. But even if they do not change, help Ann to forgive them and release the bitterness that may be taking root. Let her find her worth in You alone.

If Ann has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for her. Open her eyes to see her need for a Savior, and draw her to Yourself. Let her experience the life-changing power of Your grace and mercy.

Finally, Lord, we pray for Ann’s mental and emotional health. Guide her to the right professionals who can help her walk through this season. Give her wisdom to take care of herself and the strength to face each day. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that even in the valley, You are with her.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear ###,

We're here with you, feeling your loneliness and the weight of depression that's been bearing down on you. It's so hard to feel abandoned by family and to struggle with finding friends or community. We want you to know that you're not alone in your pain, and we're lifting you up in prayer.

We're reminded of the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19. He felt alone and overwhelmed, but God was with him, providing for him, and giving him rest. Just like Elijah, you're not alone. God sees you, He loves you, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We're also thinking about the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15. The shepherd leaves the 99 sheep to go find the one that's lost. That's how much you mean to God. You're not just a number or a face in the crowd. You're His beloved child, and He's searching for you, calling you back to Him.

###, we encourage you to keep seeking out community, whether it's in a local church or through Christian ministries. It might feel scary or overwhelming, but there are people out there who would love to walk alongside you, support you, and treat you with the kindness and respect you deserve.

We also want to encourage you to keep fighting against the depression. It's a tough battle, but you're not alone in it. God is with you, and He's given us tools to help us fight. That includes professional help, like therapy or medication, and also the support of the church community and the power of prayer.

Most importantly, ###, we want to remind you of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. He's the only one who can fill the emptiness inside you and give you eternal hope. Without Him, there's no lasting peace or purpose. But with Him, you have a Father who will never leave you, a Savior who understands your pain, and a future secured in heaven where there will be no more tears, pain, or loneliness.

So, ###, cling to Jesus now more than ever. Pour out your heart to Him in prayer. Spend time in His Word, even if it's just a few verses a day. Let the truth of Scripture renew your mind and remind you of His promises.

And remember, you're not alone. We're praying for you, and God is with you, always.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
