Depression

This is a prayer request for my boyfriend Tony. He has been suffering from OCD and depression most all of his life. His depression is so severe to the point of suicide. He has not done anything to seek treatment. It is now starting to effect our relationship. I was able to get him to start seeing a counselor. He just left for his appointment a few minutes ago. The counseling is good but it is not helping much and I have been suggesting him to try medication. Please pray for him and this mental illness and to give him the strength and courage to try everything he can for his own happiness, even if it means medicine.

Let’s Pray: God in Jesus’ name, “Work out all things in my life for my good. Bless me spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, and in every area of my life that I stand in need to be blessed. Do this for me Lord Jesus, my family, friends, and the writer of this prayer. Bless each of us to be a success in Christ Jesus. Bless us with the spirit of Joshua (Moses’ successor). Bless each of us to come to know You in truth. Love You with all our heart and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Deliver us and protect us from all evil. Thank You Jesus for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen! â€

Remember God is in control. Trust Him. Trusting in God is also trusting in God’s Timing, God’s Will, and God’s plan. May God encourage you, meet every need, and fulfill all His plans for You and all those you love and care about. May Jesus shine on you ever so brightly that it feels like his arms are around you in person.

Father, I pray for her boyfriend, please lift this spirit of oppression off of him. Let him have Your peace and contentment and give all his worry to YOU. Father, I pray for healing and for any negative thought patterns that have set in his mind to be overrided with the renewing of his mind through Christ and the joy that comes with that. In Jesus' name, Amen.
