We come before the throne of Almighty God with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of depression, fear, and longing that weighs so heavily upon you. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand in agreement with you, declaring that God sees your pain and hears your cries, and He is mighty to save.
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first step to true freedom and joy in Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold in your life. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear is not from God, and we command it to leave you in the name of Jesus. We also rebuke the lies of self-doubt, self-deprecation, and poor self-esteem that the enemy has whispered into your ears. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose and plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray for your job situation, asking God to open doors of opportunity for you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that God provide you with a job that not only meets your financial needs but also allows you to use your creative gifts and talents for His glory. May He grant you success and favor in your endeavors, and may you find joy and fulfillment in your work.
Regarding your desire for marriage and children, we pray that God would prepare your heart and the heart of your future spouse. We encourage you to seek a godly man who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37), and who will cherish and honor you as Christ does the church (Ephesians 5:25). Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for mutual love, support, and the raising of godly offspring. We pray that God would bring the right man into your life at the appointed time, and that you would both be equally yoked in faith (2 Corinthians 6:14).
We must address the mention of sexual desires and the pursuit of a romantic relationship outside of marriage. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is a gift from God to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage. Hebrews 13:4 states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." We encourage you to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to pursue purity in your thoughts and actions. Trust that God will fulfill your desires for intimacy and companionship in His perfect timing and way.
We pray for your financial needs, asking God to provide for you abundantly. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to seek God’s wisdom in managing your finances, to work diligently, and to trust in His provision. May He grant you the means to pay off your student loans, secure a safe and comfortable home, and have the resources to be a blessing to others.
We also lift up your desire for right friendships and partnerships. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, "Walk with wise men and you will become wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." We pray that God would surround you with godly friends who will encourage you, challenge you to grow in your faith, and walk alongside you in life. May these friendships be rooted in Christ and bring glory to His name.
Lastly, we pray for your fear of driving on the highway. We declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, and we ask that He grant you peace and confidence behind the wheel. May He protect you on the roads and give you the courage to overcome this fear.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion and faith. We lift up this dear sister in Christ, asking that You would draw near to her and lift her out of the pit of depression and fear. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of self-doubt and poor self-esteem, reminding her of her worth and value in Your eyes. We pray for Your provision in her life—providing a job that brings fulfillment, financial stability, and the means to be a blessing to others.
Father, we ask that You prepare her heart for marriage, bringing a godly man into her life who will love and cherish her as Christ loves the church. May she find joy and contentment in You as she waits for Your perfect timing. We pray for purity in her thoughts and actions, that she would honor You with her body and wait for the gift of intimacy within the bounds of marriage.
Lord, we ask that You surround her with godly friendships and community, that she would not walk alone but be uplifted and encouraged by those around her. Grant her courage to overcome her fear of driving and peace in every area of her life. May she find true happiness and fulfillment in using her creative gifts and talents for Your glory.
We declare that You are her provider, her healer, and her strength. May she find her identity and worth in You alone, trusting in Your promises and resting in Your love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
