But more than that, we pray she would surrender this burden to You, trusting that You care for both her and these animals (Matthew 6:26). Break the strongholds of anxiety and depression over her mind. Fill her with Your peace and remind her that her worth is found in Christ alone, not in her works or her ability to "save" these cats.
If she does not know You, Lord, reveal Yourself to her in this storm. Draw her to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which she can be saved (Acts 4:12). Let this trial drive her to her knees, where she will find mercy and grace in her time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
