We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling depressed and struggling with your health. First, we want to remind you that God cares about you deeply and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
In regards to healing, we believe that God is able to heal you. Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with depression, a violent cough, and high blood pressure. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body. In accordance with your promises in James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore we will confess our sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." You said it and we believe in your promises. We pray that the medication will start working effectively, that the cough will subside, and that their blood pressure will normalize. We also pray for their emotional well-being, that You would fill them with Your joy and peace.
While we pray for physical healing, we also want to remind you that God is interested in our spiritual healing as well. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, so that we might have a relationship with Him. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved, as stated in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
Lastly, we want to encourage you with the words of Paul in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working all things together for your good.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, trusting that God will bring healing and hope into your life.
