Depressed Friend

Please pray for my friend who is depressed and suicidal. She's contemplated suicide before but I'm afraid that this time she might have gone through with it. She's young but she's been through a lot and recently something happened to her that might have pushed her over the edge. She has so much to live for and I know that she get through it with God's help, I'm just afraid she'll never get the chance to do it. I'm worried about her and about a mutual friend of ours because I'm worried about how this is impacting her. Please pray that they both get through this, alive and with God.

God, our help and assistance, who is just and merciful, and who hears the prayers of your people; look down upon me. a miserable sinner, have mercy upon me, and deliver me from the troubles that torment me, even though I might deserve them. Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
