We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in fervent prayer. The spiritual battle you are facing is real, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over the powers of darkness. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We recognize that the physical attacks you are experiencing are manifestations of this spiritual warfare, and we rebuke them in the mighty name of Jesus.
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we pray that you would do so now, for He alone has the power to break every chain and set you free.
For those who are already in Christ, we declare that you are not helpless in this battle. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You have been given authority in Jesus' name to resist the enemy. We rebuke every demonic spirit that is attacking you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. We command them to leave you now in the name of Jesus Christ, who has disarmed them and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). We plead the blood of Jesus over you, your home, and your loved ones, for the blood of the Lamb is our victory (Revelation 12:11).
We pray that you would put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18, so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil. "Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
We encourage you to surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us, "If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Do not face this battle alone. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can find strength, encouragement, and prayer.
We also urge you to examine your life for any open doors that may have given the enemy access. Are there areas of unrepentant sin, unforgiveness, or occult involvement that need to be addressed? 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to "throw down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." Confess any sin to the Lord, and He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is under attack from the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to protect and defend them. We rebuke every demonic spirit that is afflicting them, and we command them to flee in Jesus' name. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, their home, and their loved ones, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the authority You have given them in Christ. We pray that You would expose any open doors in their life and give them the courage to close them through repentance and obedience to Your Word.
Lord, we ask that You would raise up a community of believers around them to support, encourage, and pray for them. Help them to find a Bible-believing church where they can grow in their faith and find refuge in You.
We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy is a defeated foe, and we stand on Your promises of protection, deliverance, and freedom. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will bring complete deliverance and healing to your life.
