Please pray for an end to demonic harassment I have been experiencing for years. Thank you.

We hear your cry and we stand with you together in prayer against this demonic harassment that has burdened you for years, and we do not take this lightly. We know that our struggle is real and spiritual, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that no harassment or oppression can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly share that it is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, Philippians 2:10, and it is by that name alone that demons must flee. If you have not yet fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for then you will be saved, Romans 10:9, and you will receive the indwelling Holy Spirit who gives you power to resist the enemy.

We rebuke every demonic spirit and assignment of harassment against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We command any spirit of torment, fear, oppression, and darkness to leave you and to go where Jesus sends you, for He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt us, Luke 10:19. We declare that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We also encourage you to examine if there may be any open doors that have given the enemy a foothold, whether involvement in the occult, unforgiveness, unconfessed sin, or objects and media that glorify darkness, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We urge you to resist the devil and he will flee from you, but first, be subject therefore to God, James 4:7, by walking in repentance, holiness, and obedience.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who has endured years of demonic harassment. We ask for Your mercy, Your deliverance, and Your perfect peace to surround them. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, home, and sleep, and we ask You to fill every place once occupied by fear with Your Holy Spirit. We pray that You would put on them the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Teach them to stay sober and watchful, resisting the adversary steadfast in faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9, and to dwell in Your shelter where they may rest in Your shadow, Psalm 91:1. Lord, break every chain, close every door to the enemy, and let them know the freedom that Christ gives, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We ask that You lead them into strong Christian fellowship and wise pastoral counsel, and give them hunger for Your Word day and night. Let them know that You are near to all who call on You in truth and that You deliver the righteous out of all their troubles, Psalm 34:17. We thank You that nothing can separate us from Your love, Romans 8:38-39. We pray all this in the victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast, to pray continually, to fast as the Lord leads, to speak Scripture aloud over your home, and to worship, for praise drives back darkness. Fill your home with the Word of God, keep short accounts with God through confession, forgive those who have wronged you, and do not give the devil an opportunity, Ephesians 4:27. Stay in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and for you, and if the harassment continues, seek a mature, Bible believing pastor for personal prayer and support. We are continuing to pray with you for complete freedom and lasting peace in Christ.

We read your note and we have been holding you before the Lord. Living with harassment for years is exhausting, and it can leave you feeling on edge and worn down. Thank you for reaching out and letting us pray with you.

You do not have to carry this alone. One of the most steadying things we have seen is when someone invites one or two mature, trusted believers or a pastor to walk alongside them over time, not just for a single prayer but for ongoing listening, prayer, and wise discernment. Isolation can make any spiritual struggle feel heavier, while consistent fellowship and prayer with others brings perspective and support. If you have a pastor or a steady believer you trust, consider asking this week if they would meet with you regularly to pray and to help you think through next steps with care and seriousness.

We also find that steady, small practices over time matter more than looking for one dramatic moment. Staying rooted in prayer, in Scripture, and in community helps keep your life filled with what is good and anchored in Christ.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear one to You. We ask for Your peace to guard their mind and heart, for Your protection over their home and sleep, and for freedom from every harassing influence. Give them wisdom, strength for each day, and faithful people nearby who will walk with them. Help them to know they are seen, loved, and kept by You. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We have heard your cry after years of demonic harassment, and we bring your burden before the Lord who alone is mighty to deliver.

Take comfort in this truth, that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification and for freedom from the enemy's power, and that is in Jesus Christ alone. The Scripture declares that the Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. If you are in Christ, you are not left to fight in your own strength, for the battle is the Lord's.

Our hope is not in our own resolve but in the ransom God has found. As it is written, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has found it in the blood of His Son. None know freedom from sin and from Satan but those who trust the atoning blood, for without the shedding of blood there is no remission. Christ has triumphed over those worse enemies, and His salvation is a greater deliverance than any deliverance wrought for Israel of old. Therefore He makes deliverance effectual, and in every deed He brings His people forth.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we ask for Your mercy and Your mighty deliverance for this soul long harassed and wearied. Let the blood of the Lamb be its defense, let the power of the Holy Spirit guard its heart and mind, and let the enemy be rebuked and driven back. Clothe this one in the whole armor of God, that standing in Christ he may resist the devil and see him flee. Grant peace within, light in darkness, and the joy of walking erect in conscious, God given freedom. Give assurance that the clock of mercy has struck the hour of deliverance according to Your eternal purpose, and let this afflicted one live to declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not by our worth but by the ransom You have provided, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in His Word and in prayer, calling upon the name of Jesus with a sincere heart. Resist the enemy by submitting yourself to God, as the Scripture says, Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Walk in the light, confess sin quickly, and keep close communion with Christ. We urge you also to walk with faithful believers and with a local church where you can receive pastoral care, prayer, and the ministry of the Word, for God ordinarily works deliverance by human instrumentality and by the fellowship of His people.

If these harassments involve oppression, fearful thoughts, or spiritual heaviness, do not listen to the arrow that says God’s ear is shut and He will never move His arm to save. He does hear, He does deliver, and He will have you give your hearty assent and consent to His salvation, knowing that He brought you forth. May the Lord who chastens and yet spares, who wounds and yet heals, grant you songs of deliverance and make your ways enlarged, so that obedience becomes freedom and Christ’s yoke is found easy and His burden light.

Thank you for sharing this heavy burden and for asking for prayer. To carry harassment for years is wearying, and God sees your endurance and hears your cry for relief.

I have prayed for you, and I will continue to pray, that the Lord Jesus Christ who came to deliver us from evil and to bring us into sonship would grant you full deliverance and peace. Scripture teaches that we did not free ourselves, but Christ set us free by paying the ransom for us, and that we have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry Abba, Father. Because you belong to Him, you can stand fast in that freedom and not return to any form of bondage or fear.

The apostle speaks of being delivered from the mouth of the lion, and then of a greater deliverance, to be kept from every evil work and not to yield to sin. In the same way, God does not always remove the struggle in a single moment, but He does deliver by giving strength to resist, to despise the terror of the enemy, and to stand firm. The devil prowls like a lion, but when we resist him firm in faith, clothed in Christ, he must flee.

So I encourage you to keep these practices daily:

Put on Christ through faith, repentance, and obedience, and walk in the light. Confess any known sin quickly and receive His forgiveness.

Pray continually in the name of Jesus, using Scripture aloud. The Lord's Prayer, Psalm 27, Psalm 91, Ephesians chapter 6 on the armor of God, James 4:7 and 1 Peter 5:8-9 are especially helpful to pray and to remember.

Stay under the care of faithful pastors and mature believers. Do not face this alone. Ask them to pray with you regularly, to help you discern what is happening, and to encourage you.

Keep a simple rule of prayer, fasting as you are able, and steady hearing of the Word. Turn away from anything that might give the enemy a foothold, including occult practices, unwholesome media, or persistent bitterness, and fill your mind and home with what is pure and true.

My prayer for you is this:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on Your child who has endured long harassment. You alone can deliver from evil and make us Your sons and daughters. Cover this person with the blood of Christ, who paid the full price for freedom. Send Your Holy Spirit to bring comfort, strength, and assurance of adoption. Break every work of the evil one, silence every lie and accusation, and grant rest at night and peace by day. Teach this dear one to stand fast in the freedom Christ has given, to resist the devil firm in faith, and to be kept from every evil work until You bring them safely into Your heavenly kingdom. Let Your presence fill their home and heart, and let them know they are Yours. Amen.

Please continue to seek the Lord and to stay connected to your church family. If the harassment continues or intensifies, reach out again to your pastor right away so you are not alone in the battle. God is faithful, and He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but will provide the way of escape that you may be able to endure and overcome through Christ.
