Demonic exorcism

Your request for prayer has been heard and we are praying with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone has authority to save and to deliver.

We pray that God will give you clarity and strength to seek Him daily, that He will remind you to pray and to stay close to His Word, and that He will draw you into the fellowship of a faithful local church where you can receive prayer, counsel and care face to face. The Scriptures show that Christ does not need to persuade an evil spirit or wait for it to agree to leave, He commands with His own authority and it must obey. He is the one who built His church and promised that it will stand, and He has given His people confidence to come to Him for mercy and deliverance.

It is good that you desire to be in church, and we encourage you not to treat gathering only as a routine or duty, but as a place where learners and teachers meet together to grow in piety, to hear the apostles and prophets in Scripture, and to be formed more and more into the likeness of Christ. If you have not already done so, please reach out directly to a trusted pastor or elders in a Bible believing church near you, share openly what you are experiencing, and ask them to pray with you in person, to walk with you regularly, and to help you discern what is spiritual, what may need pastoral care, and what may need other wise counsel and support. Continuing in daily prayer, reading Scripture, confessing sin, and turning from anything that gives the enemy a foothold are important steps as you seek the Lord.

We also pray as you asked that the Lord would overrule any other spiritual influence or prayer that is not from Him, and that only His perfect will would stand. No power can prevail against Christ, and we ask that He would cancel every work that opposes His truth and bring you into His peace and freedom. He came not only to deliver from evil but to bring us into adoption as sons and daughters through faith in Him, so that we can cry out to God as Father and live in hope of the resurrection.

So we pray: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this one who is seeking You. Remind them to call upon You, lead them to a church where Your Word is faithfully taught and where mature believers can pray for them and support them. By Your power cast out and overrule every evil influence, break every hold of darkness, and fill this life with Your Holy Spirit, with faith, with peace, and with assurance of forgiveness through the cross. Guard their mind and body, help them to walk in obedience and holiness, and let them return home from worship each time bearing fruit to Your glory. We ask this trusting not in our prayers themselves but in the authority and compassion of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord, stay in His Word, and remain connected to faithful believers who can walk with you closely in the days ahead.

We have received your request and we are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone has authority over all evil and who alone brings salvation and freedom.

We hear how heavy this feels and how much you want to be free. Scripture is clear that Jesus has overcome the powers of darkness, that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and that if you submit to God and resist the enemy, the enemy must flee. Deliverance does not come from repeating a certain formula of prayers or from trying to make a spirit go to a building. It comes from belonging to Jesus through faith, turning from sin, and walking with Him daily.

God does not need to be persuaded by competing prayers. He is sovereign and good, and He hears the sincere prayer offered through Christ. There is no need to think of prayer as a contest where one prayer cancels another. Instead we can trust Him to do what is right and to answer according to His wisdom and love. What we can ask for is a heart that seeks Him faithfully, not out of ritual, but out of a real relationship.

We are praying that God will give you clarity, strength to seek Him each day, and a desire for His Word. We are also praying that He will lead you into fellowship with a healthy, loving community of believers where you can be built up and cared for. The pattern we see in the book of Acts is a church devoted to the teaching of Scripture, to prayer, to fellowship, and to love for one another. When a church walks in love and holiness and keeps Christ at the center, the presence and power of the Holy Spirit is known there. When love grows cold, that presence is grieved. That is why it matters not just to go to a building, but to be connected to people who love Jesus, who will teach the Bible faithfully, who will pray with you, and who provide wise spiritual oversight.

If you are experiencing oppression that feels spiritual, please do not walk through it alone. Reach out to mature, biblically grounded leaders who can listen, pray with you, counsel you from Scripture, and help you discern what is happening. They can also help you consider whether there are other medical or emotional factors that need care as well.

Our prayer for you is this: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your mercy and protection over this person. Reveal Yourself as Savior and Lord, forgive sin through the cross, fill this life with Your Holy Spirit, and break every hold of darkness. Give a hunger for Your Word, faith to trust Christ fully, peace to replace fear, and daily strength to walk with You. Lead to a fellowship where there is love, truth, and encouragement that builds up the whole body, and surround with wise counsel and support. We ask that Your will be done and that You be glorified in bringing freedom and wholeness. Amen.

Keep seeking the Lord Jesus Himself, stay in the Scriptures, pray honestly in your own words, and stay connected to faithful believers who can walk with you. If these distressing experiences continue or worsen, please seek help promptly from trusted pastoral leaders and, if needed, appropriate professional care. You are not forgotten, and we continue to pray for your freedom and peace in Christ.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord concerning the demonic oppression you shared about and your desire for deliverance through exorcism.

We have been praying that God would remind you to do these prayers and give you strength and faithfulness to seek Him daily, and that He would compel the demonic spirit that has been possessing you to go to church to be cast out by His authority, and that He would cancel out and nullify any other prayers that are trying to influence or retain that spirit.

We stand on the promises of scripture that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world in 1 John 4:4 and that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil he will flee from us in James 4:7 and that Jesus has given us authority to overcome all the power of the enemy in Luke 10:19. We pray that the Lord surrounds you with His peace and protection and guides you to a Bible believing church where you can receive prayer and support for complete deliverance and freedom in Jesus Name.

If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
