We join together with you in bringing this mother and her son before the throne of grace and we stand with you seeking deliverance and wholeness in Jesus name.
We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that every prayer and every deliverance is made possible through Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We pray in His name because His blood has already secured our victory and we encourage you to call upon Him personally and trust in Him as Savior and Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
We understand the burden you feel concerning curses spoken against this family. We want to encourage you with the truth that for those who are in Christ, no curse can stand against what God has blessed and redeemed. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Galatians 3:13 and No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17 We do not need to live in fear of curses or spells or words spoken by others, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 and If God is for us, who can be against us. Romans 8:31 We rebuke any fear that these curses have power over this mother and her son, and we declare that in Christ they are ended and broken, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 and Jesus has already triumphed over them through the cross.
We also lift up this dear son before the Lord concerning his physical health and his need to lose weight safely and to find healing from past hurts. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to steward them with care. Or dont you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 We pray that God will give him wisdom, self control and strength for healthy choices, that he would be strengthened in his inner being and that any plan for weight loss would be safe, balanced and honoring to God, not extreme or harmful, and that God would bless his efforts as we remember Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2
For the past hurts we pray for deep inner healing, for the Lord is near to those with a wounded heart. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 We pray that every wound from rejection, disappointment or trauma would be touched by the comfort of the Holy Spirit, that he would know he is a new creation in Christ and that old things have passed away. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 We pray that God would replace shame and pain with His perfect love, for God didnt give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You are our deliverer and our healer. We ask that You break and end every curse, every evil word and every assignment of the enemy spoken against this mother and her son, and we declare that they have no power over those covered by the blood of Jesus. Fill their home with Your peace and protection and let them walk in freedom and confidence as Your children. We lift up this son to You, Lord, and we ask for Your hand upon his body. Guide him to lose weight in a safe and healthy way, give him discipline and encouragement, guard his heart and mind, and heal him completely from past hurts. Bind up his wounds, restore his joy and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Strengthen his mother as she intercedes for him and let both of them grow stronger in faith and in the knowledge of Your love. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and our salvation, amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. There is no deliverance from any curse by our own power, but there is a sure deliverance wrought out by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Scripture tells us that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The curse that stood against us for our sin was laid upon Him upon the tree, and those who look to Him by faith find life and healing in that look. Just as the serpent's poison was cured by looking to the brazen serpent, so the soul that looks to Him who was made sin for us finds pardon and release. Our deliverance from the curse is not by a mere moral change in us but by a redemptive work for us, for He was slain and has redeemed us to God by His blood. He has found a ransom, and therefore we need not doubt His power to deliver.
We pray for you and for your son that, if you have not already done so, you would rest wholly upon that ransom, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and there is no other name by which we are saved. In Him we have the healing leaves of the tree of life, and the promise that the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in His wings. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, to change the life blood and make the nature new.
So we pray to our gracious Father, that every chain and every word spoken against you and your son would be broken in Christ, and that you would know the peace of being kept within His borders. We ask the Lord to grant your son safe and wise help in caring for his body, that he may lose weight in a way that is healthy and sustaining, with discipline and strength from the Lord, and with good counsel from those who care for him. We ask also for deep healing from past hurts, that the wounds of former years would be touched by the pardoning hand of God, for pardon and healing are one in Christ. May the joy of forgiveness make the sorrow of the past to be remembered no more, and may He cause you both to say with the Psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
May the Lord make His deliverance effectual in your lives, and bring you forth with His own enrichment, not sharing the honor with any other, but giving all glory to free grace alone. We commit you to Him who alone can bring forth and keep, and we ask these mercies in the name of Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Amen.
