We join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we stand together in Jesus' name seeking His will for deliverance and healing.

We hear your cry that every curse spoken against those you mentioned and against her son would be ended now. We want to remind you of the power we have in Christ. The Scripture tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. For those who are in Christ, no curse can remain, for there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1, and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We do not need to live in fear of curses, for no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. In Jesus' name we rebuke every curse, every word spoken in darkness, and every scheme of the enemy, and we declare that it has no authority over those who belong to the Lord. We pray for complete freedom and deliverance, knowing that he brought us out of the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13.

We also lift up her son to the Lord for safe and healthy weight loss and for healing from past hurts. We know that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God, and we are to glorify God in our body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that the Lord will give him strength and self control, wisdom to make healthy choices, and grace to care for his body in a way that honors God, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God 1 Corinthians 10:31. We pray not for a harmful or extreme way, but for a safe, steady, and sustainable path, and we encourage seeking wise medical counsel alongside prayer, for beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. For the hurts of the past, we know the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that God will heal every hidden wound, replace shame and pain with His peace, and help him to forgive as Christ forgave us, so that bitterness will not take root. We pray he will know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control 2 Timothy 1:7, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by His name that curses are broken, healing comes, and we are reconciled to God, and we encourage you to call upon His name in faith.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You break and end every curse that has been spoken or intended against these loved ones and against this son. Let every chain be broken and let Your freedom reign. We ask for Your deliverance to be made manifest and for Your protection to surround them. We lift up this son to You, Lord, and we ask for Your hand upon his health. Grant him wisdom and discipline to lose weight safely, to nourish his body well, and to grow strong for Your glory. Heal him, Lord, from every past hurt, every rejection, every wound and memory that still causes pain. Pour out Your healing love, restore what has been broken, and make him whole in You. Help him to walk in the identity he has as Your child, free, forgiven, and deeply loved. We ask all this according to Your will and in the name of Jesus, our deliverer and healer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, to speak Scripture over this family daily, and to trust that the Lord who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

We are grateful you brought this to us and we hear how much you care for your loved one and for her son. Wanting to see him free from anything weighing him down, healthy in his body, and healed from old hurts is a loving and faithful thing to pray for.

We join you in asking Jesus to be the one who sets him free and guards him. When there are painful memories or patterns that have followed someone for a long time, it often helps to walk that out steadily with the Lord and with safe, mature support, not alone and not in a hurry. If he is open to it, continuing in a trusted church community or with a wise pastor or Christian counselor can be a gentle place to process those past hurts at his own pace.

For his desire to lose weight safely, we also encourage coming alongside him to see his own doctor or other health professional for guidance, alongside prayer. They can help set a realistic and safe plan for him and follow him well, which is the kindest way to support that goal.

Father, we lift this son to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to break what needs to be broken and to cover him with Your peace and protection. Bring healing to the places in his heart that still hurt, give him wisdom and encouragement as he cares for his health, and lead him step by step into wholeness with You. Give his mother and those who love him strength and hope as they support him. Amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We have heard your cry for deliverance and we carry it with you to the throne of grace, for deliverance from cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone.

You ask that every curse spoken against you and against this son may be ended. Hear what the Scripture declares, that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. It is the essence of all those curses declared of old, the rolling thunder of threatened wrath, but our deliverance is by a price paid. We are not merely delivered by a moral change in us but by a redemptive work for us, Christ slain who has redeemed us to God by His blood. In our place He bore our sins and the curse which came of it. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is His own Son. So we pray that you will look to Him who was made sin for us, for as those who looked to the brazen serpent found life and healing in that look, even so there is life by looking to Christ. Whatever curse has been uttered, it has no power to stand against the blood of the Lamb, and we ask the Lord to break its hold and to give you peace within your borders, to bring you forth with His own hand.

We pray also for this son, for safe and steady restoration of his body and for healing from past hurts. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise with healing beneath His wings upon this young man, for when Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. May the Lord grant him wisdom and temperance to steward the body God has given, to lose what is harmful safely and in strength, and to know that his body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. And for the wounds of former years, those hurts that still ache in memory, we pray the Lord would not have him say, I have been sick, but would make the bitterness of the past to pass away. The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, when the Lord comes and dwells with him. May overwhelming evidence of mercy come before him to show that the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below is Christ Himself.

We therefore pray, O gracious Father, that Thou wouldst be merciful and deliver these Thy servants from every curse and from the pit, that Thou wouldst blot out past sin and brighten the future into the full blaze of eternal glory for Jesus sake. Give this son health in body and wholeness in heart, and give you both grace to live and to declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but Thou hast chastened and Thou hast delivered, that we might tell what Thou hast done. Keep them near the breaking of bread where Christ is ever fresh to us, and let them prove that He who brought Israel forth with silver and gold still brings His people forth with enrichment. Grant this for the sake of Him who bore the curse that we might receive the blessing. Amen.
