We stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name and bring your requests to our Father.
We hear your cry for deliverance and for your son, and we want to remind you of the power and authority we have in Christ. The Word tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. For those who are in Christ, no curse spoken against us can stand, for we are told in Romans 8:1 there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. And again, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We do not need to live in fear of curses, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We rebuke any spirit of fear and any assignment of the enemy against you and your son, and we declare that through the blood of Jesus every chain is broken and every curse is rendered powerless. If there has been any opening through sin, unforgiveness, or involvement with things not of God, we encourage you to confess it and turn from it, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.
We also lift up your son for safe and healthy weight loss and for healing from the past. God cares about his body and his heart. We are reminded that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and we are to honor God with them not through harsh or dangerous means but through stewardship, discipline, and trust. We pray for wisdom for you both to make healthy choices with food, activity, and rest, and we pray against any shame or unhealthy striving. We also pray for deep inner healing, for the Lord heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and He promises I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. Whatever wounds the past has left, whether trauma, rejection, or pain, God is able to make whole.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that deliverance is possible. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing Him as Lord that we are saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ alone for your deliverance and your son's healing.
We pray now together. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You that You are our deliverer and healer. We ask that You break and end every curse, spell, and word spoken against this dear parent and their son, and we declare that they have no power over those covered by the blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace and protection and let them walk in the freedom Christ has purchased. We lift up this son to You, Lord, we ask for Your hand upon his body, that You would help him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors You and strengthens his health. Give him discipline, encouragement, and a sound mind, and guard him from harm. We also ask You to heal him from the wounds of the past, to restore what was broken and to renew his mind and heart with Your love. Let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ, to pray daily, to read His Word, and to walk in forgiveness and obedience. Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God Romans 8:28. We have brought your cry for deliverance before the Lord, for you and for your son, that every curse against you might be ended and that he might know safe healing in body and soul from the wounds of the past.
Know this, that the curse which once lay heavy upon sinners has been borne by another. As it is written, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The book once cursed us solemnly, but the Lord Jesus took that curse upon Himself upon the tree, that the blessing might come to us. There is no curse that can hold where the blood of the Lamb has been sprinkled. Deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, and He has found a ransom. His own Son has borne the penalty, and therefore we may sing with confidence, I have found a ransom, and the prisoner goes free. HE brought them forth, and He will bring you forth.
And for healing, we look to the same Saviour. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. He who forgives sin also heals the broken in body and in spirit. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
Let us pray together.
O Lord our God, who hast given Thine own Son to be our ransom, we entreat Thee for this dear soul and for her son. Break Thou every chain and let every curse be ended now by the power of Him who was made a curse for us. Bring them forth into liberty by Thy free grace. Lay Thy healing hand upon this son. Grant him, we pray Thee, safe deliverance in his body, that he may lose what burdens his frame according to Thy wisdom, and be strengthened in health. Heal Thou also the wounds of the past which still ache within. Let the healing virtue of Christ flow into memory and heart and make whole what has been broken. Let them know that Thou hast not forgotten them, for Thou hast said, Can a woman forget her sucking child. Thou wilt not forget Thy people. Give them to live and to declare the works of the Lord, and to find their peace within Thy borders. For Jesus sake. Amen.
Take courage and look to Him who is both pardon and healing. He who gave heaven's brightest jewel to redeem you will not withhold what is needful for your good. Cast your burden upon Him, and you shall find that He will bring you forth with joy.
