We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son and we stand together on the finished work of Jesus Christ.
We want to gently remind you of the power of the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. You did not mention His name in your request, but we want to assure you there is hope and power in Him alone. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10.
Concerning curses, we want to encourage you with truth. For those who are in Christ, no curse can cling to you, because Christ has already broken its power. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Galatians 3:13 and we have been delivered out of the power of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of the Son of his love. Colossians 1:13. The weapons of this world have no authority over the child of God, for No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17 and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. We do not need to live in fear of curses spoken against us, but we submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us. James 4:7. So we rebuke any fear or belief that a spoken curse holds power over you or your son when you are covered by the blood of Jesus.
We also lift up your son for his physical and emotional healing. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss, not out of vanity but as good stewardship of the body God has given him, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that God will give him wisdom, self control and strength for daily healthy choices and that he would prosper and be in health, even as his soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.
We also pray for healing from past hurts. The Lord sees every wound and He is near to those who are brokenhearted. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and He was sent to heal the brokenhearted and to set the captives free. Isaiah 61:1. We pray that any bitterness, rejection, shame or pain from the past would be healed by His love and that your son would walk in the fullness of joy and identity as a child of God.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that through the cross and resurrection, every curse has been broken and every chain has been loosed. We declare in Jesus name that any curse, word or assignment spoken against our dear sister and her son is null and void and has no power, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and their household and we ask You to surround them with Your protection and peace.
Lord, we lift up this beloved son to You. We ask for Your healing hand upon his body and his heart. Give him grace and discipline to care for his body in a safe and healthy way, guide him to proper nourishment, activity and rest, and let his health be restored for Your glory. Heal his past hurts, Father, wash away every memory of pain with Your love, renew his mind and restore his soul. Let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You and help him to walk in confidence as Your child. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, with hope and with wholeness.

We have brought your request before the Lord with you, asking for His deliverance and healing to be made manifest in your lives.
There is a sure ground for prayer against every curse, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. It is not by our own power or by any charm that deliverance comes, but by the ransom which Divine Love has found. The Lord Jesus bore the penalty in our place, and by His blood we are set free. As Israel was brought forth when the lamb was slain, so our deliverance is wrought by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone through His Son. We pray that whatever oppression or evil has been spoken against you and your son would be broken and rendered powerless by the cross, and that you would rest in the perfect protection of Him who was made sin for us that we might live.
For your son we pray also for healing. The Scriptures tell us that the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, and that the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and He delights to bind up the broken heart. We ask the Lord to heal past hurts, to repair the wounds that have broken the spirit, and to give that inward change which makes the nature other than it was before. God alone heals the broken heart, and He does it by pardon and by His gracious presence. May your son know first the forgiveness that is in Christ, and then the wholeness that flows from it, that he may no longer say I am sick, but rejoice in mercy that makes him whole.
We pray likewise for his bodily health, that the Lord would grant wisdom and grace for safe and steady care of the body which is His temple. We ask for strength to walk in sober stewardship, for provision of wise counsel, and for perseverance, that weight may be lost in a way that honors God and preserves health, without harm or haste.

May He show you that He has found a ransom, that your past sin is blotted out and your future brightens into eternal glory, and may the clock of mercy strike the hour of your deliverance. We commit you to Him who heals and pardons, who brings forth His people with a mighty hand and enriches them with His grace.

We have received your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your loved ones would be shown to have no power, for Scripture teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, and that those who are in Christ are blessed and secure in Him. We ask God to give you deep assurance of His protection and deliverance, not through fear of curses, but through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who is our only salvation and our strong refuge.
We also lift up your son before the Father. We ask for wisdom and grace for safe and healthy weight loss, for self discipline and strength, and for guidance for any doctors or counselors who help him. We pray that he would see his body as a gift from God to be cared for with patience and fortitude, and that he would grow in health in a way that honors the Lord and sustains him.
We pray too for healing from past hurts. The church is like a spiritual surgery where wounds received outside can be healed by the Word and the Spirit, and God is able to heal even long standing pain. We ask the Lord to bring comfort, to heal memories and heart wounds, and to help him hear the Word of God continually so that his senses are exercised and his heart is renewed. Even when healing seems slow, God is at work through repeated hearing and patient trust, and He does not overlook any sigh or prayer offered to Him.
May the Lord grant you both a careful hearing of His Word, a continual remembrance of His promises, and deliverance from all that would hold you back, so that you may walk in freedom and wholeness in Christ. We pray that you will know His mercy, His healing, and His peace in the days ahead.
