We join with you in bringing you and your son before our Heavenly Father and we stand with you seeking deliverance, protection, and healing in the mighty name of Jesus.
We want to share biblical truth concerning curses. For those who are in Christ, no curse can ultimately prevail against us, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse. As it is written, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We also remember Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse does not come to rest Proverbs 26:2. This does not mean the enemy does not try to oppress, accuse, or bring heaviness through past hurts and fear, but we rebuke the lie that any spoken curse, spell, or ill wish has authority over a child of God. We resist the enemy by submitting ourselves to God, for we are told Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 and For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. We speak against every assignment of darkness, every word of harm, and every lingering effect of past hurts, and we declare that you and your son are covered by the blood of Jesus and that in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Romans 8:37.
We also lift up your son for physical health and inner healing. We pray for safe and steady weight loss, not through harsh or harmful means, but through wisdom, self control, and stewardship of the body God has given him. We are reminded that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God and that we are to glorify God in our body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray God will give him strength, discipline, and peace as he cares for his health, and that he will be guided by wise counsel including godly medical guidance where needed. We pray as well for deep healing from past hurts, for the Lord is near to those wounds. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and we know that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We encourage your son to bring those past hurts fully to Jesus, to forgive those who have hurt him as Christ has forgiven us, and to allow the Lord to replace bitterness and pain with His peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9. It is through simple faith in Jesus, His death on the cross for our sins and His resurrection, that we are delivered from all darkness and brought into the family of God.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are our refuge and deliverer. We ask that every curse, every evil word, and every assignment of the enemy spoken against this dear one and her son be broken and rendered powerless now by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke fear and oppression and we ask You to fill this home with Your perfect love which casts out fear and with Your peace and protection. Lord, we lift up this son to You. Touch his body, guide him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors You, give him strength, health, and a sound mind, and lead him to habits that bring life. Heal his heart from every past hurt, every rejection, every wound, and let Your healing love bind up what has been broken. Renew his mind and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Draw both mother and son closer to Jesus, strengthen their faith, and let them walk in freedom, joy, and wholeness. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to pray and read Scripture aloud over your home, to put on the full armor of God, and to speak life and blessing over your son rather than dwelling on fear of curses. Trust that Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. Keep casting your cares on Him, walking in forgiveness and obedience, and trusting the Lord to complete the healing and deliverance He has begun.
