We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing and we stand on the finished work of Jesus Christ for you and your son.
We want to remind you that for those who are in Christ, no curse has authority over us, because Christ has already broken its power. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn't come to rest Proverbs 26:2. And we claim the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We have been delivered out of the power of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13. Therefore we do not pray from fear, but from victory, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true deliverance and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If anyone has not yet put their trust in Jesus, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that every chain is broken and every curse is rendered powerless.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank you that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over this family. We declare in Jesus name that every curse, every spoken word, every assignment of the enemy against this dear one and her son is broken and ended now, and will not rest upon them. We rebuke any fear and any lie that they are under a curse, and we declare they are blessed in Christ, covered and protected. We ask you to fill their home with your peace and presence and let them walk in freedom as new creations in Christ 2 Corinthians 5:17.
We also lift up this son to you for physical health and for healing of past hurts. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss according to your wisdom. We know our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to glorify you in our body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray you will give him strength, self-control, and discipline, and guide him and his family to wise and godly counsel including medical guidance, so that he may care for his body in a balanced and sustainable way without harm or extremes. We pray as John prayed, Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
For past hurts, we ask for your deep healing. You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. You are close to the brokenhearted and you redeem what was broken. We pray you will heal memories, remove shame and bitterness, and help him to forgive as you have forgiven us, and to be renewed in his mind Romans 12:2. Let him know his identity is not in his past pain or in his weight, but in Christ, and that you work all things together for good for those who love you Romans 8:28. We pray he will cast all his anxiety on you, because you care for him 1 Peter 5:7, and that your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We thank you Father that you have heard us. We trust you to continue your deliverance, your healing, and your restoring work in this family. Help them to stay rooted in your Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers, walking daily in the freedom Jesus purchased. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace, for the Lord hears the cry of those who seek deliverance.
We pray that you and your son may know the deliverance which is wrought out by the Lord Jesus Christ alone. The Scriptures teach that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, that we might be set free by His blood. No curse spoken against you can stand where the blood of the Lamb has been applied, for He has borne the penalty and found a ransom for sinners going down to the pit. We ask the Lord with His own outstretched arm to bring you forth from every cruel captivity and to make His deliverance effectual in your lives, and that you may give Him all the honor for it, knowing it is of free grace only.
We pray also for your son according to the flesh and the spirit. We ask the Sun of Righteousness to rise upon him with healing beneath His wings. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations, and who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We entreat the Lord to heal him from past hurts, to lift the weight of sorrow and memory, and to make his heart whole. The Lord who pardons sin also heals sickness, and the joy of pardon can make us forget the reproach of former days.
For his body we pray for safe and steady restoration to health. We ask God to grant him wisdom and self control, strength for daily discipline, and guidance for those who may counsel him in caring for his body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, that any loss of weight may be safe, sustained, and for his good.
May the Lord grant you both to know that He has heard, and to rest in His love which curses sin but redeems the sinner who looks to Christ. We leave you in His faithful hands, trusting that He who has begun a good work will perfect it.

We are praying with you and bringing these needs before the Lord together.
We ask our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ alone, to bring full deliverance. Scripture says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, and that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Where you have felt the weight of curses or spiritual oppression, we pray that you would know the freedom that is already secured at the cross, and that any voice of accusation or fear would be silenced by the blood of Jesus. May you and your son walk in the confidence that you are blessed in Christ and kept by His power.
We also lift up your son for physical health. We pray that God would grant him wisdom, strength and self control to steward his body well, and that any plan for weight loss would be safe, sustained and guided by good counsel and medical wisdom. We ask the Lord to give him daily grace for healthy habits, for peace in his mind, and for strength to persevere without discouragement. May his body be strengthened as a temple of the Holy Spirit, for the glory of God.
