We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son would have no power, for Scripture tells us that Christ has redeemed us from the curse and that no weapon formed against those who are in Him shall stand. We ask God to break and end every work of darkness, every harmful word and every spiritual attack, and to surround you and your son with His protection and peace. May you walk in the freedom that comes through faith in Christ alone, with confidence that He is your deliverer.
We also lift up your son before the Father. We pray for his health and for wisdom as he seeks to lose weight safely. Grant him strength and self control, good counsel from those who care for his body, and a steady path of discipline and health that honors God who made him. Help him to care for his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, not from shame or pressure, but from love for God and gratitude for life.
We pray for healing from past hurts. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and He heals the wounds of the soul. We ask Him to heal memories, to restore what has been broken, and to replace pain with His comfort. Give your son and your whole family continual recollection of the Word of God, careful hearing and fortitude in Christ, so that old wounds may be healed in this spiritual surgery of His grace and not be reopened.
May God grant you both renewed strength, sound health in body and soul, and the everlasting blessings that come from abiding in Christ. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only Savior and Healer. Amen.
