We have continued to lift him up before the Lord, asking for his deliverance, for grace to lose weight safely and in a healthy way, and for deep healing from past hurts. We pray that God will strengthen him in body and soul and bring wholeness where there has been pain, for we know that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, 1 Cor 6:19.
We ask the Father to give your son wisdom and self control, to guide him to make healthy choices, to protect his health as he seeks to care for his body, and to pour out His peace and comfort over every hurt from the past. We pray that he will know how deeply he is loved and valued by God and that the Lord will deliver him and restore him day by day. We pray this in Jesus Name.
