We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare that every curse, every chain, and every dark assignment against and her son is broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We stand on this truth, Lord, and command every curse to be nullified by the power of the blood of Jesus.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, addiction, and bondage that has sought to keep 's son in captivity. The enemy has no right to steal, kill, or destroy in his life, Jesus came that he might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare healing over his body, mind, and emotions. Lord, we ask that You would guide him into safe and healthy weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and strength. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." May he honor You with his body, and may his health be restored for Your glory.
Father, we also lift up the deep wounds of past hurts that may still linger in his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring healing to every memory, every betrayal, and every loss. Let Your love wash over him like a river, bringing peace where there has been pain and hope where there has been despair. We declare that the spirit of heaviness is lifted, and in its place, the garment of praise is put upon him (Isaiah 61:3).
We also want to gently remind and her son that true deliverance and healing come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Him, we pray that they would do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first step to walking in freedom and wholeness.
Lord, we stand in the gap for this family, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every generational curse and every assignment of the enemy over their lives. We loose angels to minister to them, to protect them, and to bring divine encounters that will draw them closer to You. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, free from every chain, and filled with Your peace.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has conquered sin, death, and the grave. Amen.
