We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. The Word of God declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We stand in the authority of Jesus' name, which is above every name, and we rebuke every curse that has been spoken or enacted against and her son. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and command every curse to be nullified and rendered powerless. The enemy has no authority here, Jesus has already triumphed over him at the cross!
Father God, we declare that no weapon formed against or her son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, covering them in divine protection. Lord, we ask You to release Your angels to encamp around them, guarding them from every scheme of the enemy. Let Your light expose and dispel every darkness that has sought to oppress them.
For 's son, we pray specifically for safe and healthy weight loss. We know that true transformation comes not by our own strength but by Your power working within us. Your Word says, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would give him the discipline, wisdom, and self-control to honor You with his body. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey, and let him experience Your peace and joy as he seeks to live a life that pleases You.
We also lift up the deep wounds of past hurts that may still linger in his heart. Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch every place of pain, rejection, or trauma with Your healing balm. Your Word promises, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would replace every lie the enemy has spoken over him with Your truth. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), deeply loved by You, and called for a purpose. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the freedom and wholeness that only You can provide.
Father, we also pray for . The enemy often seeks to attack our children as a way to wound us, but we declare that this strategy will not succeed. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. Let her rest in the assurance that You are fighting for her family. Equip her with wisdom and discernment to parent her son according to Your will, and fill her heart with hope as she sees Your hand moving in their lives.
We come against every spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take root. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We command every spirit that is not of God to flee in Jesus' name! Fill and her son with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing they are Your beloved children.
Lord, we also ask that You would draw 's son to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if he does not already know You. There is no deliverance, no healing, and no true freedom outside of a relationship with You. Your Word says, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Soften his heart, Lord, and let him experience the life-changing power of Your love. Surround him with believers who will point him to You and help him grow in his faith.
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no curse, no weapon, and no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, in health, peace, and joy, all the days of their lives.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
