We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son before the Lord. Father God, we know that You are a God of deliverance and freedom, and we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain and curse that has been spoken or enacted against this family. The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" Lord, we declare that no curse formed against ### or her son shall prosper, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and bondage in the mighty name of Jesus. Let every evil word, generational curse, or ungodly soul tie be severed now by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We also lift up ###’s son before You, asking for Your healing touch over his body and soul. Lord, we pray for safe and healthy weight loss, that You would grant him discipline and wisdom in his eating habits and physical activity. Guide him to make choices that honor his body as Your temple, as it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We ask for Your strength to sustain him and for Your peace to guard his heart as he walks this journey.

Father, we also bring before You the past hurts that may still linger in his heart. Heal every wound, Lord, and replace pain with Your perfect peace. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask that You would mend what has been broken and restore what has been lost. Let him know Your love in a deep and personal way, and let him walk in the freedom that only You can provide.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours through Christ. May ### and her son walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from every curse and strong in spirit, soul, and body. Amen.

We’re joining you in prayer for you and your son, lifting these things to the One who sets captives free and restores what’s been broken. Thank you for bringing this here, it’s not small to name these needs and ask others to stand with you.

We resist every curse spoken against you or your son right now, drawing on the authority of Jesus Christ. We ask the Holy Spirit to break any hold the enemy has tried to maintain, and we declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, hidden in Him where curses have no power. We don’t wait for a sign, we trust that He hears and acts.

For your son’s healing from past hurts, we know Jesus can enter those tender places. It often helps to invite Him intentionally into those memories, to allow Him to speak truth where lies took root, and to walk through forgiveness, not pretending the hurt didn’t happen, but releasing those who caused it into God’s hands. If he’d like to explore that further, a trusted pastor or a counselor familiar with inner-healing prayer can be a steady companion in that process.

And as he pursues weight loss, we’d gently encourage connecting with a doctor or a nutrition professional who can help him find a safe, sustainable path that cares for his whole self, body and spirit. God cares about our physical health, and using the wisdom He makes available is an act of stewardship, not weakness.

Jesus, we bring this mother and her son before You. Break every curse by the power of Your name and set them free. Heal the hurts from his past, meet him in the memories and bring Your restoring peace. Give him courage to forgive, and surround him with people who will walk alongside him. Guide him also in caring for his body in ways that honor You, and give him patience with himself. Let them both feel Your nearness and Your unshakable love. In Your name we pray, Amen.

The curse that once fell upon our guilty heads has fallen upon another, and that other is Christ the Son of God, who was made a curse for us. So every curse that the Law pronounces against our sin is now silenced, swallowed up in the triumphant cry, “It is finished.” No curse can light upon those for whom Christ was made a curse. This is the grand deliverance, wrought not by human merit but by the outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, and it is effectual for all His little ones.

As for the son’s bodily frame and the hurts of his soul, the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The very least things about Christ are charged with healing virtue. Pardon and healing are one gift from the same pierced hand. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a soul, He comes with healing in His wings, and the inhabitant shall not say, “I am sick,” because the joy of forgiveness makes the sorrow of the past shrink away. This deliverance from the power of sin and its scars is as much a work of God as deliverance from its guilt. The prisoner ready to be executed finds undeserved deliverance, for the King’s own Son has borne the penalty. All past sin is blotted out, and the future brightens into the full blaze of eternal glory.

Let this son look to Jesus upon the cross, there is life in that look, and find in His wounds a present healing and in His death a new life. The Lord chastens, it is true, but always from dear covenant love, measured out in weight and not in anger. Sickness, when sanctified, brings health to the soul; loss confers unseen gain. So we pray not for ease alone but for the sanctifying use of every trial, that the heavy frame and the wounded spirit may both be brought under the healing sway of Free Grace.

The clock of mercy has already struck the hour of deliverance for all who are in Christ. Declare His works, then, with a brave heart. The Lord has delivered, does deliver, and will yet deliver. No pharaoh, no inward corruption, no lingering memory of past years can hold captives whom the blood of the Passover Lamb has ransomed. Go forward, then, in the strength of this: God has found a ransom.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. I join my prayer to yours for this son. In the name of Jesus Christ I ask that every curse spoken or sent against him be broken and brought to nothing, not by our own power but by the cross of Christ, which disarmed the powers of darkness. May the Lord silence every accusing voice and deliver him from every evil work.

For his body, ask God for safe and gradual loss of weight, with self-control, wise counsel, and freedom from despair or dangerous extremes. The body is to be cared for as a servant of the soul, not idolized. Let bodily discipline be joined to prayer and the reading of Scripture.

For the past hurts, I pray Christ would enter those wounds and heal them. But do not be surprised if God does not remove every memory at once. He often uses past afflictions to loosen our grip on the world and make us run to Him. Prepare your mind for endurance rather than demanding a fixed hour of deliverance. The three young men did not say, If God does not rescue us by this time we will not believe; they trusted Him whether He delivered or not. Abraham received his son back not because he set God a deadline but because he had already yielded him up. So pray now with faith, but also say from the heart, If not yet, I will trust You.

The deepest deliverance is not only from a curse or a burden but into Jesus Christ. If this son has not yet given his whole life to Him, let that be the first request. No curse has final power over one who is hidden in Christ. I ask the Lord to make this young man His own, to heal his past, to give him a sound body and a sound soul, and to turn every loss into gain for his salvation.

I bring your son before the Lord and ask that every curse against him and your household be ended now. Whatever words have been spoken over him, let them fall to the ground and have no further claim on him. In Christ the curse is answered, and the way is open for him to stand under blessing rather than accusation.

I ask for safe, steady healing for his body. You made the body with its own processes of repair, and all true healing is still your work, whether it comes quickly or gradually. Guard him from harmful shortcuts and discouragement. Give him wisdom in what he eats, strength to move, and patience to accept slow, real progress rather than a quick fix.

I also ask for healing from past hurts. The old wounds that replay in his mind can become their own weight. Help him count those injuries as loss compared to knowing Christ, not pretending they did not happen, but refusing to let them define him. Heal the scars in his emotions and his thoughts. Let him press ahead instead of living in what has been done to him. You are not confined to one way of healing; do what you know is best for him, and make the places of past pain places where your grace is known. In Jesus' name, Amen.
