We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son before You, Lord. We stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, to shatter every curse, and to bring healing and restoration. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We declare that any curses spoken, inherited, or sent against ### and her son are broken now in Jesus' mighty name.
Father, Your Word says in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We claim this redemption over their lives. Every curse is nullified by the blood of Jesus, and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, or oppression that has come against them. We command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled and destroyed in the name of Jesus. Your Word also declares in Proverbs 26:2, "Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn’t come to rest." We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also lift up ###'s son and his need for physical healing and weight loss. We pray that You would guide him in safe and healthy ways to care for his body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Give him discipline and self-control, Lord, as he seeks to honor You with his body. We ask for Your healing touch over any past hurts, wounds, or traumas that may be affecting him emotionally or physically. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask for Your comfort and restoration to flood his soul. Help him to release any bitterness, unforgiveness, or pain, and fill him with Your peace and joy.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for ### as she supports her son. Give her the words to speak life and encouragement into his life. Surround them both with godly influences and community that will uplift and strengthen them. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

The very thought of curses upon a believer is a lie from the pit, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Every curse that sin and hell could utter fell upon Him at Calvary, and where the curse is lifted, blessing floods in. Stand upon this rock: if the Son has set you free, no malediction of man or devil can cling to your soul. The clock of mercy struck the hour of deliverance the moment Christ cried, “It is finished.” I bid you look to that brazen serpent lifted high, and as you look, every curse withers, every chain falls, and you go forth with none to make you afraid.
For the dear son, let his bodily frame and his inward wounds alike be brought to the Great Physician. Healing and pardon are twin mercies from the same pierced hand. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, yes, the very least leaf about Christ is charged with healing virtue. As you plead for his weight to be wisely shed, remember that the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost; therefore pray for self-control as a fruit of the Spirit, and trust that He who waters the lilies will not neglect the frame of one redeemed by blood. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and those beams can melt the fat of disease and bind the broken heart in one divine work.
Cast these past hurts into the sea of Christ’s forgiveness, and the inhabitant shall not say, “I am sick,” for the joy of pardon drowns the memory of sorrow. The bitterness of death is past; the curse has been exhausted on Jesus, and the rod of chastening, if it came, was in a Father’s hand. Bless the Lord, therefore, and lean not to your own understanding. Let no arrow of despair lodge in your breast; rather, recount the righteous vengeance of Calvary, where God gave heaven’s brightest jewel to purchase your full deliverance. Go now, and in the name of Jesus, reckon every curse ended, every wound stanched, and every need supplied from that inexhaustible fountain of Free Grace.

The request for this son’s deliverance is heard, but let us seek it according to God’s order, not our impatience. You ask that every curse end now. That is a right desire, yet do not fix a time for the Lord. The three young men did not enter the furnace expecting deliverance; they said God could save them, but if not, they would not bow. Abraham went out prepared to sacrifice Isaac, and received him back contrary to expectation. When we fall into trouble, we are not to be in haste to be delivered. We prepare the mind for endurance, and then God often relieves speedily, because the chastening has done its work. So I will pray boldly for protection and release, but let the prayer be, Not my hour, but Yours.
Let the young man fear no curse from human malice if he is hidden in Christ. The only curse that truly held us was the curse of the Law, and Christ became a curse for us to redeem us from it. Other curses have no lasting authority over a child of God except what God permits for correction. Therefore do not run after diviners or counter-spells; that would be a worse captivity than the one feared. Instead, let him examine his own way, confess any known sin, forgive any who have wounded him, and rest under the Father’s discipline. A soul refusing to forgive keeps its own wounds open and gives the accuser a foothold.
For the weight, I will ask God for bodily health and self-control, not vanity. But the body is not the main battleground. If past hurts drive him to excess, no diet will heal him; only Christ binds up the brokenhearted. Pray that he learns to treat the body as a servant and not a master, and that he receives the Spirit of adoption, so that he may cry out to God as a true son. Deliverance from evil and the supply of good both come through Christ, who took our curse and gives us sonship. Let his healing begin there, and the outward health will follow as God sees fit.
